Settling In

[Hitoban no Fokkusu]

Dawn tilted her head slightly, but didn't ask to see them. "If you wish to show me, it's your choice. I won't ask you." Since Tsuki and all the others deemed him acceptable, who was she to not? She simply nodded and smiled. "I'm sure you won't be any trouble. After all, I wouldn't have even noticed you had Shimo not mentioned a guest." All things calm again, Dawn rested her head on her paws and watched her pups play.

[Rynn]

Raist slowly lowered himself to the ground and laid on his side his breathing starting to raddle in his lungs again and with a small almost silent sigh he opened his eyes to reveal the golden orbs and the hourglass-shaped pupils. He looked around the cave tiredly he was tired of hiding his eyes and if this pack couldnt't accept that then he would just leave like he was always forced to do. He looked to Maname, then to the pups, then to the pups parents before laying his head on the ground and waiting for a reaction from the ones who saw his eyes.

[Tsukikage]

Kage made a mental check of the situation... Hikaru was a little freaked, Raist had trippy eyes, and his father was off dealing with Neo... other than that, no one was hurt, so he opted for the not-freak-out reaction.
"Nice eyes." He said with a smirk. "You wanna see mine? I only got the one."

[Hitoban no Fokkusu]

Maname saw that Raist's breathing was apparently hurting him, and was about to go and investigate when he opened his eyes. They were different, for sure, but oddly charming. The color was almost magical, and though the pupils were oddly shaped, it wasn't anything to be frightened of. She padded over, inspecting his chest.

"Is there a reason your breathing is so labored?"


Dawn saw Raist's eyes as well, but she didn't mind. Hitoban's eyes are bright red, Kage has one eye, Tsuki glows from time to time, Mar's huge and unusually red, and many other things were odd about this pack. But adding one more pair of slightly odd eyes wouldn't hurt anything-unless they were possessed or something. Hikaru was apparently very interested, however, and trotted over to Raist. He jumped up, paws on Raist's nose, and looked at his eyes. He sniffed them a second, then barked playfully. He dropped back down and charged Raist's nose, headbutting it dead on. He toppled back laughing, and ran away.

[Rynn]

Raist chuckled and looked sideways at Maname, "My body was shattered by a curse a couple of years ago, I always sound like this...but it sounds worse when I'm tired or if I've had one of my fits.." He then watched Hikaru as he put his paws on his nose and then butted heads with his nose, Raist just smiled slightly and watched the pup run off.

[Tsukikage]

Kage chuckled as he watched the pup make a new friend.
"Hehe, well, looks like the vote is official." He said, "Welcome home, Raist. This is my mate, Dawn, and I am Kage. The little trouble-maker here is our boy, Hikaru. He's got some siblings... that... huh... now where'd they go?" He looked around and saw a few sleeping, but there were a few missing. Which meant they were either in the other room, or... "I'll be right back."

Thankfully, Kage found Dusk and Vespera huddled in a corner of the room Mar had been in. He carried Vespera on his back, and Dusk in his mouth, and made his way back to the others, where he made a head count to make sure everyone was there...
Good, they're all safe

[Hitoban no Fokkusu]

Maname nodded, worried. She wasn't very good at dealing with curses, so she worried that if things got bad there wouldn't be much she could do. It was much the same situation as Rin-there wasn't much to do but ride it out.

Dawn watched as Kage got up, looking around for the missing pups. When he brought them back, she was relieved. She tried to take their disappearances in stride-it happened more often than not. They were, after all, exploring, energetic pups. She pulled the sleeping pups close and continued laying around. She found she got quite tired these days...

[Rynn]

Raist bowed to Dawn, Kage, and the pups, "It's nice to meet you all..." Raist then looked at Maname, "If I turn out to be a bother I'll leave, but for now I must rest I had a fit before Mar and Shimo brought me down here." He paused for a few seconds, "I'll just sleep here in this corner if that is alright with you all, I know the Alphess will probably want to meet me once Tsuki finds her and I don't want her to have to ask a lot of questions to find out where I am." he chuckled his exhaustion showing clearly in his cursed liquid gold colored orbs, "That and I don't think I could move very far from this spot anyway..."

Maname listened to Raist talking about wanting to rest there, though she'd rather have him rest in one of the rooms in the healer's wing, just so she could keep an eye on him. "I understand if you can't move much, but if you feel you'd like some privacy you're welcome to sleep in one of the rooms in my wing."

[Rynn]

Raist blinked and thought for a few seconds before nodding, she was the healer after all and he figured she probably wanted him closer to her in case he had another fit of his, and with a great effort he pulled himself back up onto his feet, as he started moving again the rattling in his lungs as he breathed got louder, he slowly padded over to Maname moving like a wolf two times his age, 'Damn this curse' he thought to himself, 'And damn you Gibari for shattering every fiber of my being and leaving me for dead...' He cleared his thoughts as he stopped by Maname, "Alright Maname, lead the way..."he said softly.

Maname watched Raist worriedly as he made his way over to her, his breathing as labored as a fifteen year old's. He softly told her to lead the way, and she nodded. She dipped her head to Dawn and Kage silently, and turned to lead him into her wing. She showed him to the room to the left of hers, complete with a bed.

"It's not much, but then, nothing down here really is." She smiled sheepishly, standing to the side of the doorway, near the big stone table in the middle of the wing.

[Rynn]

Raist chuckled and looked at Maname, "Its' better than anywhere else I've been.." he said softly as he slowly padded into the room and laid down on the bed.

She nodded, not knowing what to say. Had his life been that hard? She wondered what kind of places he had slept in. The rain? Snow? She'd been there and done that. When bad weather hits, you have to find someplace dry fast or you'll get sick.

She smiled at him, dipping her head slightly. "Stay as long as you like, and don't feel obligated to strike up a conversation with someone if you don't feel well." She smiled again, turning to go to her room. "Good day, Raist."

[Rynn]

Raist smiled at Maname and gave a small cough before curling into a ball and closing his cursed golden eyes and drifting off into sleep. But his sleep was fitful and troubling, it went from a vision of wolves he didn't know and a huge battle, then once that was over his dream switched to the day Gibari cursed him. Raist woke with a start a couple of hours later a with a barely contained snarl that was cut off as he doubled over coughing though not as bad as he had earlier. Once the small fit was over he flopped back into his bed with a raddling sigh.

A few hours later, Maname heard Raist wake troubled, and rushed in when he started coughing, wanting to make sure he was alright. When he laid back down, she sat, tilting her head. "Are you alright? Was that one of the fits you were talking about?"
