Hina saw the wolf give one last push, and mimicked his actions. Her stride lengthened to its fullest, her legs moving as fast as they would go, she was beginning to feel the burn. But she was gaining. She could see him in more detail now, and if she didn't catch him, she wouldn't ever. Finally, she got close enough, so she lunged, attempting to tackle him. If she got him to stop, she would be able to fight. "Stop running away and fight me damn it!" Perhaps some goading would help in her venture to get him to stop.

Wahya stopped for a moment as Rin mentioned them fighting fair. "And you say this about the same wolves that betrayed you Rin?" He looked over his shoulder for a brief moment at her before shaking his head slightly and continuing to walk, "I would not have the trust in them after they betrayed me the first time..."
He looked to he sky, "Trust is one thing that can be broken easily and not be able to put back... even if you tried hard enough.."

Rin sighed, "Yes I do say that about the same wolves who betrayed me Wahya....One is my own sister and I grew up around the other...almost like a brother, that's how close we were. I know even though they are corrupt they'd not fight unfairly unless they had something to gain by it. And since it was just the two of them they are obviously not trying to take over the territory otherwise they would have brought a bigger force." She winced as her shoulder throbbed painfully, "I still just can't get over the fact that she would betray me again...you would think that killing my mate and pups should have been enough for her........I hope Kaze hasn't betrayed me again too..." She sighed and fell silent, she had prayed that her own siblings wouldn't betray her again and as soon as she had started to trust them with her life again, Fallen goes and shattered that trust in under a second flat. She was emotionally crushed though she did well to hide it, many years of hiding the pain and loss of their first betrayal had made her good at hiding emotions.
Gibari heard Hina catching up to him faster than he had anticipated, he heard her lunge at him in the attempt of a tackle and he just couldn't move out of the way fast enough and was bowled over by Hina. A low snarl built up in his chest and slowly made its way out of his maw. "You want a fight? Ha! don't make me laugh! What makes you think you can beat me by yourself when Rin couldn't?"

Hina felt her claws make contact with his back, and they went tumbling. She stood and shook the dust out of her fur, squared off against him, her back to the territory line. He mocked her, thinking, foolishly, that because she was female, he could defeat her. Such thoughts would indeed get him killed. She growled at him, low and menacing in the back of her throat, and a humorless smirk blanketed her features. "One thing you fail to notice is that, whereas Rin is weak from sickness, I am healthy and strong, and I have trained all my life in the fighting arts. You believe that simply because I am female you can defeat me? It is I who should laugh at you." Without further adieu, I lunged at him, aiming for a shoulder or leg. Yes, it was closer to the danger zone than the flank or back, but I would save my energy by going straight for him, instead of jumping up and over, or dodging to the side.

Wahya came to a halt to what he had heard from Rin. "Did you just say... that they killed your mate... and even your pups..." Wahya stood silent looking to the ground, only violent memories began to run in his mind of his past.
He clinched his paws in the dirt as a light growl began to crawl from his throat. "Only demons can do such things to other wolves... they did more than betrayed...." Wahya quickly looked over his shoulder to Rin, "They brought violence to a innocent pup!"

Rin blinked, he hadn't expected Wahya to get so worked up over her past. She sighed and put her head on the side of his neck in a attempt at comfort, "It was my father who killed my mate, and one of my pups, he had always hated me since the day I was born because of the strange illness that plagues my body sometimes, he was the kind of Alpha who only wanted strong wolves in his pack..but it was Fallen who caught the other one as she tried to run and threw it to Gibari who killed her....but....Its in the past Wahya....no need to get so angry about the past, it can't be changed...no matter how much we wish our pasts could be changed..." She closed her eyes and tried to shake the memories from her mind, and only half succeeded.
Gibari laughed, "Even in the old days before Rins illness popped up she couldn't beat me! Not even her mate could which is why he and their pups died! Because she wasn't strong enough to protect them in her 'weakened' state!" He saw her lunge straight for him and with a snarl he tried to side step her but wasn't quite fast enough and her fangs met his left foreleg, but in lunging right at him she had left herself open to his fangs too and he opened his maw and sunk his fangs into her shoulder.

Hina felt her jaws make contact with something and clenched down with all her might, listening for the telltale snap...and hearing it. It was faint, so it could have been a break, a fracture, or maybe just a crack. None of these were good enough for her-she aimed to break his leg right off at the joint. But before she got so far, she felt a searing pain in her shoulder. She yelped, accidentally letting go of his leg. She whirled on him, a savage beast in a blinding rage, and tried to make contact with his throat. She was on the ground, slightly exposed, but she didn't care. She was blind to her own weaknesses, and only cared about his. She would kill this wolf, if it was the last thing she did.

Wahya felt her head sink into his neck, he continued to look at her before looking back in front of him, "Still... the last thing I want to hear about from someone's past is losing pups from another harming them. It should never happen to those so young, they just started life!"
Wahya closed his eyes tightly as he thought about it, he was lucky that he lived when the hunters killed his family when he was only a pup. Those hunters could of easily killed Wahya or taken him for a 'pet', those thoughts never left his mind.

Rin sighed and laid her head back on his neck, "Sometimes I wish I could go back and change the past, my father told me I was forbidden to have a mate, but me being the rebel I was at the time I ignored him and started a family in secret. How my father found out I will never know. But then other times I'm glad I cant change the past, cause then I would still be in that pack, and I would never have met any of you...I would still be there, hated by everyone, or I'd be dead. If my mother hadn't sacrificed herself to save my life that day, I'd be dead. And those murderous wolves would still be on this planet killing any weaker than them. Though it seems that I missed one that day, and if he gets away from Hina...he'll be back...to finish the job I started."
Gibari laughed and let go of Hina as she yelped in pain and let of his foreleg, the bone was definitally cracked. He sprung back out of Hinas' reach as she went for his throat. His muzzle and his side were bleeding again from his recent encounter with Raist and Dawn. He wondered briefly if Raist was still alive after he had practically skinned him alive. Guess he would find out later once him and Fallen were well rested and prepared to take on both of the packs. Maybe he would go to the Heartless lands and see if they were willing to Ally themselves with him and his pack. He shook his head clearing these thoughts for the time being. He lunged at Hina aiming to sink his fangs into her back or shoulder so he could fling her away from him to give him enough time to cross the border into what was now his territory.

The pain was dizzying. She could hardly see straight, much less aim. He jumped back and she stumbled, but managed to keep her footing. She was bleeding profusely now, and the blood loss wasn't helping her dizziness. She had to kill him, not only for Rin, but for every wolf he would surely encounter. She leapt for him one last time, but as she did, she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder, and knew he had her. She cried out, Trying unsuccessfully to writhe out of his grip.
