I don't see any harm in simple smiley. After all, sometimes there are just no words to describe a feeling the way a facial expression (or in this case, an emote) can. Unfortunately, this is really bad etiquette for rps, so you basically have to pull words out of thin air, which has often led me to mile-long posts that say the same thing over and over, but with more feeling each time, which makes for a really boring, mushy post. Smileys are your friend, ooc. ^^
