...*sighs* it should be against the law to hunt... Not being a hunter myself, I agree whole-heartedly my friend.

Well now there's a difference between hunting and hunting to hurt things. If we on't hunt (example: deer) the population will grow larger and larger until the natural predators that hunt them grow larger as well. If a population of deer grows too large, they won't have enough to eat and thus they will die a much less humane deth than by gun-malnutrition. Then when all of the deer become malnourished, then natural predators(which there are fewer predators than prey) will not have enough to eat and also become malnourished. Thus the cycle will continue until all of the species in that food chain die out. So, hunting's good, but don't go overboard.

it is in that way. but hunting for sport or fun isn't acceptable. i can understand if its to keep the population down. but what i cant understand is why hunters are still hunting animals where the population is low enough already. I mean, the wolf population is getting low and yet hunters still kill them. I can understand if farmers are trying to protect livestock too. but there are ways other than shooting them.
This man on the TV once, he had been working with wolves all his life, he had raised 4 wolf pups, started a pack with them, and even been accepted as alpha. he recognised the wolf's body language and what howls meant. This farmer rung him up asking for help because wolves were hunting his livestock. He went around and gave him this CD with a rang of wolves howls. they played the howls on a speaker across the farmers and. The range of howls made it seem like that it was another wolf packs territory. A wolf pack answered and stayed away. The farmer carried on doing this every night to warn the wolves away. They never bothered him again.
I recorded the TV program. It was called wolf man. That man had given up his home, his wife and his whole family just so he could share a life with wolves in a pack. I'm just saying that there are other ways to deal with things like protecting livestock.

Yeah, I've heard about that man. That's kind of how it is with me and Sheeta and Reyana. I know how they talk to each other and I know when they're talking to me and I know when they're calling me by the variations in their howls. That's how I knew Sheeta needed help. It's not that hard to understand if you just pay attention really.

Yeah, i can sort of understand Ashey my doggie ^^ when he howls (ok he ain't the best dog to listen to when he's howling) he tries his best to howl clearly so we can understand him ^^ (clever little doggie) and a lot of the time it works. I can understand cat and dog body language well
Cats: if it hisses and its claws show = means get the hell out of the way or means dang your bugging me! ^^' if it purrs and brushes up against you = means hug me ^^
ok i aren't to accurate with cats but i understand dogs a lot better (I have 2) ^^ my cat is too easy to understand because it only has 2 moods...
love me! ^^ and get the hell away >]
personally im more of a dog lover so i can understand im better ^^ *hug*

-sighs- actually if you guys want to know, I've been paying attention recently, and 56 wolves have been killed by arieal hunters in Alaska because they either abolished the law or are trying to get rid of the law that forbids arieal hunting..but it was 56 last time I checked, which was like last month....who knows how many are dead now....

*Shakes head* and I read in an article that wolf hunting is now legal in Montana. That's right next to Yellowstone! That's where the wolf reintroduction program is happening. They're re-introducing them and then killing them as soon as they get out! *sulk*
