*Hitoban's eyes blink open slowly, and she jumps up. She shakes herself off, and wobbles a little, but she's okay.*
"Jeeze...How long was I out...?" *Her head is throbbing, and she still sees no sign of Akio. That is until he breaks through the trees at the edge of the meadow, and bounds up to her. He sees that she has been taken care of, and he nuzzles her. She sees them getting ready to go.*
"Kira, thank you for watching me, but I'm fine now. I'm going to go and find my own territory. I don't want to be a burden to Wahya. Tell him bye for me, okay?"
*She turns and begins to walk away, Akio right on her heels.*

Wahya's ear twitch to the sound of something breaking, he looks in the direction where it came from to see that Hitoban was leaving, he walks in front of her and stops, "Where are you going?"

*She was surprised at Wahya, but she answered.*
"Thank you for taking care of me, but I think it's time that I left. I don't really know where I'm going, but it's not here. I cannot intrude any longer. I'll probably go and pick a fight with one of those heartless pack members." *She smiled big. She wasn't joking. She wanted to see if they really were a cause for worry.* "So don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I have Akio, and I dunno, maybe I'll start a pack of my own."
*She sat down waiting for his reply, or his permission to leave. She had to respect him. He'd done as good as she had expected, and she was proud to see her old friend in such a position.*

Wahya smiles, "If that is what you want to do, they you can leave, but do be careful the Heartless pack might be another pack, but they are ruthless...." Wahya turns to Akio, "You take care of her..... or else..."

*Akio stands up and bows his head to the ground.*
Thank you for protecting My Lady Hitoban, but I think I can care for her now. I am in your debt.
*Hitoban smiles at them both. She takes Wahya aside to talk to him privately.*
"I have a question for you. Can you accept Akio into your pack? I mean, what I'm going to do may require a guardian, but he could not handle it. He would be torn to shreds. He cannot follow me, or he will die. He has accepted me as the stronger of the two of us, but he will try and protect me at whatever the cost. I need you to take him in."

Wahya looks at her puzzled, "Hitoban... I thought that you and him were to be not separated, and he probably would not take this too well...." Wahya looks away, "And too, you need the help, I dont know if I can bring him into the pack..."

Kuyaa trots over to see what Wahya and Hitoban were doing. She looks Hitoban over. "Oh, nice to see you are up. Where y'all going?"

*Hitoban's ears flicked backwards, and she turned around. She saw Akio looking at them in puzzlement. She felt tears welling up in her eyes. She turned back to Wahya, tears streaming down her muzzle. She licked them off. They tasted salty and warm.*
"Even with the help, I wouldn't do too well. And if I'm going down, I don't want to take him down with me. I'm not going just for the sake of going on a suicide mission you know. I'm...I'm looking for someone. Please, just watch over him. I'll talk to him. Please Wahya. If I'm successful, I'll bring my new pack to see everyone, and I'll take him into my pack. Please Wahya. I'm begging you."

Wahya looks back to Akio then back to Hitoban, "Okay..... but you have to promise me, you will not do anything that will get you killed, for that I will bring him into the pack..."

She backs away slowly then turns and trots back to Alex.

*Hitoban thought about it for a minute. She WAS going into Heartless territory....She didn't know if she'd make it. She took advice from Kazuki.*
Kazuki: You're doing the right thing. You cannot take Akio with you. If you do, he'll only get jealous and he could die. You need to leave him where he will be safe until you may come back for him.
"But I feel so bad about it Kazuki. All he's ever done was protect me and love me, and I'm just abandoning him."
Katashi: Of course you are. You're heartless, you're evil, you are a bloodthirsty monster, and you don't deserve to have Akio in your presence. He needs to find someone else.
Kazuki: Don't listen to her Hitoban. You are sweet and pure and all you want is change. And for this change to happen, Akio cannot be with you. You need to leave him.
*Hitoban considered both arguments, and soon decided.*
"Allright Wahya. I'll take Akio with me, but I cannot promise that I'll live."

"I'll be back to visit if I survive. I promise. And I'll bring my new pack. You have to promise me something though. Promise we won't get into some kind of all-out pack war where we're bitter enemies. Okay?"
