The Moon's Slumber

*Hitoban blushed again, but she chuckled and jumped down, leading Dante after Wahya, following him.*

[Wahya Ayawisgi]

Wahya continues to limp on looking at the surroundings, the moon was starting to set and the sun was rising in the distance.

"Looks like another good morning..."

*Hitoban looked to the horizon, and her face fell. This time of day always reminded her of the sister-like wolf she had met lo long ago, Dawn. It also meant that the moon had to go away. She sighed.*

[Wahya Ayawisgi]

Wahya turns his head to look at Hitoban as he walks, "What are you sighing about? Its another day and you are sighing.... geez..."

*Hitoban quickly made the smile appear back onto her face and she looked at Wahya, her eyes glowing in the rising sun's light.*

"It's nothing Wahya."

[Wahya Ayawisgi]

Wahya sighs, "Alright then, Wahya continues to walk and notices that the trees were blowing with the wind. He stops and takes a deep breath in as a breeze blows in."

*Hitoban's fur waves in the breeze, and in that second, it looks like she burst into flames.*

"Ah..." *She too breathes in the sweet air.*

[Wahya Ayawisgi]

Wahya starts to run as best as he can, he did this as a pup when it was a sunrise, he could believe he could run fast enough that he could catch the sun itself.

*Hitoban smiled genuinely and laughs as she rockets by Wahya, her fur slowly turning whiter and whiter. Soon, Kazumi was out, and she seemed to glide along the ground, howling and raising a ruckus as she went. She turned around swiftly and smoothly, gliding toward Wahya. She turned at the very last second, narrowly avoiding him, and continued to run in circles.*

Wahya stops and sits as he starts to laugh as he watches the wolf run in circles. "Well, I havent done that in a long time..."

*Hitoban snapped at Kazumi to give her her body back, and Kazumi quickly and suddenly stopped, fading away. Then Hitoban padded swiftly back to Wahya.*

"My apologies. Kazumi doesn't often got to come out, so she took the opportunity."

*She smiled sheepishly.*

Wahya closes his eyes and grins, "Its alright..." Wahya stands and starts to walk again, he notices it was quiet, too quiet.

*Hitoban's ear twitches backwards, and she spins around at the sound of crunching twigs. She bolts forward into the bushes, and returns with a rabbit hanging limp in her mouth. She trots up to Wahya and walks beside him again. She smiled through her teeth at him, blood dripping down her chest.*

Wahya was still a little uneasy but plays it off with a smile toward her, "I see you found a snack...."

Wahya doesnt not like the feel of it right now, it was too quiet, no animals were making noises.

*Hitoban lay down and chewed on her rabbit. She couldn't understand Wahya's uneasy feeling. It's true, the animals weren't making any noise, but she couldn't feel an unwelcome presence. Suddenly, she saw movement in the bushes, and she dropped her rabbit, standing with her scruff up. She still didn't feel threatened though, and she couldn't understand it. Then she saw her. She stepped through the bushes, an unreadable look on her face. Her pure white crescent moon shone gloriously on her black forehead, and the rest of her matched the now brightening sky. Hitoban could barely hear her speak, but she understood the word immediately.*

Hitoban...

*Hitoban bolted forward, a huge grin on her face as she tackled Dawn, knocking her on her back and licking her furiously.*

"Dawn! Dawn you came back! I can't believe you came back! Where on EARTH did you go off to?? I can't believe you! Leaving me like that! I know you've been watching me Dawn, how could you?"

*She couldn't seem to stop wriggling and talking and licking Dawn's face-until she remembered Wahya.*

"Oh, the poor boy's probably scared I'm maiming you. Come one, I'll introduce you."

*Dawn hung back for a second, then nodded her head, speaking to Hitoban.*

I've missed you so much Hitoban. It's true, I have been following you, but only to protect you-you know that. I thought about coming back after...Akio...but I thought I'd give you some time to yourself first.

*They had been walking, and now Hitoban stopped in front of Wahya.*

"Wahya, this is Dawn. She has been like a sister to me since I lived with my old pack, back when...Akio took a vacation."
