Kira had gone for a walk and came wandering back happily she looked to Hina who seemed a little confused. Padding over withh her ears pricked Kira listened to her say about how someone gave up thier pack. "I hope you dont mind me asking, but whos given up thier pack?" Kira said half confused. SHe didn't like the idea of giving packs up. Your given that rank for a reason and you hold it with pride, not throw it away blindly.

Wahya blinks to Hina suddenly turning around and telling him this, his eyes wander as he thinks about the more than a little problem. "I do have little problems... that is alright, but I have a bigger problem that I worry about. That bigger problem could hurt everyone around me and myself if not.... controlled.."
Wahya glances to his wounds covered in herbs then back to Hina, "You really seem to know who to do this properly, how did you learn so well yet only a loner?" Wahya's ear flickered to the sound of Kira's voice.

Rin shifted her attention to Mar as he spoke, "Shimo was able to help him, and if you're willing to keep an eye on him I think I'll go track down something to eat, and then I'll come right back to help keep an eye on him..." She stood to her paws kinda shakily, and the world spun but she didn't stagger, though she shook her head to clear it again.

Mar watched Rin quizzically. "You uh... you look like you need some rest, miss. You just lay here and keep Tsuki warm, and I'll go get some food, okay?" He decided to wait for her decision, just in case. She may be resolved to hunt, in which case, it would be foolish to stand in her way; but if she was weary, then at least he had offered.

Rin smiled at Mar, " I need as much rest as the rest of you, but I didn't help in the fight with Giga in any way, so I feel like I should do something worthwhile....don't worry I'll be fine....and I'll rest later...." she looked into the forest and went silent for a few seconds before turning back to Mar, "And besides..." she said sounding a bit hesitant, "Your more help to Tsuki...than I ever could be...." and with that she turned around and dissapeared into the forest to track down something for the rest of the group to eat.

Kira looked to Wahya and Hina. "I hope you don't mind me asking but who gave up thier pack?" Kira didn't like the sound of giving up a pack. If you hold an alpha rank, you hold it with pride and don't give it up.

*Hina sighed and plopped down in the snow, trying not to be rude to this new wolf she didn't know, or Wahya.*
"I do not know you, red wolf, therefore I have no authority to explain this to you. You obviously know Wahya, so he can tell you."
*She turned her face now to Wahya and began to speak again.*
"I apologize. I don't know your situation and therefore have no room to chastise you for anything. And if you don't mind hearing a bit of my life story, I'll tell you both why I reacted so strongly, and how I became so good at healing. It all started when my siblings and I were pups, and my mother and father were the healers in our pack. Mother and Father taught my Maname-my sister-and I everything they knew, but Daisuke-my brother-wasn't that interested in healing. He was a natural tracker. He was a superb hunter, but he couldn't kill at all. He could find anything in a heartbeat, but he couldn't bring himself to kill it. We had only one alpha-he was a great leader all by himself is what he'd always said, but we all knew he was lonely-and he constantly gazed off into the sky longingly. He would take on his duties with grace whenever the need called, but if nothing was in need of doing, he would be alone on his little hill. One day, a rouge bear broke into our camp and we rallied our defenses. Our alpha stepped in front of the bear like he was going to lunge for his throat, but instead just stood there and waited for the bear to snap him in half like a twig. With our alpha lying dead on the ground and a bear coming for us, the young ones, all of our males and our strongest females-the one's without pups-fought the bear trying to protect us. Mother and Father ran around frenziedly healing everyone they could. Maname and I wanted to help, but the mothers wouldn't let us go. Then all we could do was watch in horror as our gallant father took a blow to the back of the head and had just enough time to finish healing the wolf before he died. Mother rushed to his side, of course, but upon finding him dead, continued on saving as many wolves as she could. The bear killed her as well. She had enough strength to crawl back over to Father and die by his side. Then everyone was dead or severely injured and the bear came after us. Maname and I hadn't seen Daisuke in a while, so we presumed him to be dead as well. I closed my eyes as the bear's claw raised before my sister and I, but then I heard a yelp and a roar. Daisuke had attached himself to the bear's neck and was shaking himself with all of his might. The bear's veins and blood gushed out of his neck as he fell to the ground, stone dead. After that, Daisuke was able to kill anything that was a threat at any time. Maname and I saved everyone we could, but in the end, only two others survived. If we would have been a little older, with a little more instruction, we might have been able to save more. So we've been training ourselves ever since that day, and we've traveled alone. Daisuke acts as a messenger between Maname and I. He finds one of us if the other has been waiting at the meeting point for more than a day. I need to get back to the waterfall before nightfall now, or Daisuke will come looking for me. I don't want him to go to any trouble."
*Hina sighed again and smiled.*
"So now you know. If our alpha hadn't have given up his duties, Mother and Father would have survived."

Wahya sits as he listens to the story, as it gets to where the bear attacked them he was struck with pain. He gave up.... and so much more pain followed than to expect... Wahya turns his head and closes his eyes as some tears start to roll of his face. This alpha Hina spoke of, if Wahya did the same as he did then something worst could follow. Memories run as he sees his pack laying dead, no ones fault, but him seeing his old pack laying dead on the ground struck Wahya with agony.
As Wahya continues to look away as he tries to stop the tears he boldly says, "No one I know of gave up their role as Alpha, because I have sure haven't so that nothing wrong happens to this pack!" This wolf Hina, showed Wahya plenty in just a little story, Wahya did not know if it was just fear that made him change his mind, or if he really did care for the packs safety.

Mar was getting impatient. He kept laying there with Tsuki and Hitoban, thinking, I should've stopped her... she'll never be able to get enough food for all of us... especially me, much less carry it all here... I barely got my fill off that bear... I wonder if I couldn't find another; it would certainly be able to keep Tsuki warm for a while before we eat, but what could happen to him in the mean-time? I feel so useless! Just then, a wish was granted, and Kage rose shakily to his feet. He was shaking all over, like he could collapse at any moment. He looked at Dawn and smiled, then turned to Mar, "Dad, how is Tsuki?" Mar smiled, "Shimo bled him, so his heart wouldn't have to work so hard, theoretically. I'm just trying to keep his extremities warm, for the moment. His breathing is still shallow, and his brain functions are probably minimal, to conserve blood. Shimo might be able to mend his heart when he wakes up, but for now, Tsuki's just an empty shell." Kage snarled, then nodded. Yes, he'd felt it too... Tsuki's very being was no longer burdening his body. He had sealed it up in the back of his mind and cut it off from the rest of his body, so that it wouldn't require anything from his body until his heart was healed... though that may never happen, even with Shimo's gift. Kage merely shrugged, "So that's why I feel so lousy. Listen, I would take your place if I could, but my body doesn't generate any heat at all, and I'm too weak to hunt right now, so... I'm pretty much useless. I can't even try to heal Tsuki myself; his body couldn't handle a fusion right now." Mar smiled and shook his head, "Don't worry about it, I can't do much either. Though I do have a favor to ask: could you find Miss Rin and make sure she's okay?" "I can try," Kage nodded, "Though my range is gonna be shorter right now." He strolled off, following Rin's tracks.

ooc: I fixed the post ^^ lol
Rin trotted through the woods, she traveled until she spotted a herd, her eyes ran over the deer trying to pinpoint one that looked good to take back to the others. Spotting a young but large buck she crouched down and headed around until she was downwind of it and started to sneak towards it. She was spotted a few seconds later and the herd scattered. Rin took off after the buck, upon catching up to it she jumped at it and sunk her teeth into the back of its neck, the buck tried to unlatched her but she held on and a few seconds later she snapped its neck. The buck, which was still running, collapsed and flipped over and took Rin with it for she hadn't let go in time. She lay on the ground panting till the deer stopped moving before standing she had a small cut on her shoulder where an antler had nicked her but she was fine other than that, she picked the deer up and dragged it back the others. She was almost back to the clearing when she almost crashed into Kage, "Oh, hey Kage!" she said after she laid the deer on the ground.

Kage took a step back and smiled, "I guess there was nothing to worry about after all." He reached down and took hold of an antler to help Rin carry it. "Though, you know," He said as they walked back, "This won't be able to feed everyone and my Dad. I mean, I really don't think catching anything bigger would've been possible by yourself, let alone carrying it back, but Dad needs a lot more food than the rest of us... could... do you think I could take this one from here and you could catch another? I don't mean to impose anything, of course, but I was just thinking that if we don't have enough food, then Dad will go out and probably look for another bear -- and in his current condition, that would be a bad idea." He took a minute to think about all that, "Er... what I mean by condition is that he got pretty banged up fighting Giga, and his body isn't superficial like mine. I mean, you saw how wiped out he was when he brought in that bear meat, right? I just don't think he could handle it, y'know?"

Rin chuckled, "No your not imposeing....I'll go find another if we need another, I didn't help in the fight with Giga so I felt kinda worthless.....that's why I offered to go hunting, and so if we need more I don't mind going after more...." she thought about what Kage said about Mar, "yeah I noticed and when he woke up he was still tired and I don't want him wearing himself out more than he already is...so yes you can take this one back and I'll go find something else to bring back...." She stopped and put the deer down so that Kage could pick it up better. "I'll be back as soon as I can with something else to eat..." and with that said and without waiting for an answer from Kage she turned around and darted back the way she had come.

*Hina smiled to herself, thinking she knew the story by now. Apparently, Wahya had lost confidence in himself and given up his pack, but her story sent him back on the right path. She stretched herself out and looked to the darkening sky.*
"Crap! I need to get going!"
*She blushed for a second and turned around, her tone now much quieter and timid.*
"I don't really...know these lands too well, and I need to get back to that waterfall before dark. ...Can you help me find it? Ifyoudon'twanttoItotallyunderstandbutifyouwillIwouldbeSOgrateful!"
*The last came out rather fast and slurred, and Hina blushed madly and turned away, kicking herself inwardly for being so bashful.*
*Meanwhile, in the clearing, Hitoban's eyes blinked open, roused by the smell of a strange wolf. She jumped up, fangs bared, and looked behind her. A few yards away was a pure white wolf and a strangely colored female. The male's eyes were spiraling blue-gray, and the female's fur was gray, a blue-green looking color-like the sea. The female's eyes were emerald green and Hitoban could tell that she must be very unique. The Male took a decisive step forward, putting himself in front of the female and growled.*
State your name and business!
*Hitoban's ears flattened and she crouched low to the ground. Her tail was raised as high as it would go.*
"I am Hitoban no Fokkusu, alphess of the pack Kuran no Hikari and ruler of these lands. State your name and business."
*The Male's tail dropped parallel to his body and he stopped growling, so Hitoban let herself calm down a little. If there's one thing she respected, it was respect. He did not, however, move out from in front of the female.*
I am Daisuke, and this is my sister Maname. We mean you no harm. We are looking for our sister, Hina. Have you seen her?
*Hitoban straightened up and shook her head.*
"No, I'm afraid I haven't. Would you like to rest here a while?"
*Daisuke looked like he was about to say something but his sister, Maname, interrupted him, smiling.*
We would love to, thank you. My brother can be so overprotective. We agreed that we would meet up with each other at that big waterfall back that way, and if one of us wasn't back by sundown the next day, we were to go looking for them. Daisuke here is an excellent tracker. We were just tracking Hina down now. As he's already said, I am Maname and it is a pleasure to meet you Lady Hitoban.
*Maname bowed respectfully and nudged Daisuke when he did not. He quickly followed suit and Hitoban chuckled.*
"It's been a while since anyone's called me that. Please, come and rest."
*Hitoban lay back down next to Tsuki, wriggling as close as she could to keep him warm. She whispered in his ear.*
"Tsuki...we have guests..."
*Maname stepped forward, but Daisuke grabbed her by her scruff, stopping her.*
Maname, we don't know these people! This could be a trick. I think we should just go and look for Hina.
Oh come on Brother! Don't be so hasty to judge people. I'm tired, so I want to rest here for a while. Besides, didn't you say Hina was over there? I'm sure she'll come this way when she returns.
But what if something happened to her? We agreed if she's not back by dark, we'd go after her!
It's not dark yet. Give her some time. I bet she comes through those trees just as the sun is going down. Now I'm not going to be rude and refuse Lady Hitoban's invitation, and you aren't either.
I'm older than you Maname, and I say we need to go.
When have I ever listened to you because you're older?
Lots of times.
Wishful thinking. Now come on. You don't have to lay next to her! You don't even have to lay down! You can pace back and forth like a caged animal, but you'll only be wasting energy.
*Maname reached back with her paw and bopped his nose; he yelped and let go. She walked forward and lay down a few feet away from Hitoban. Daisuke sighed and trotted forward, sitting next to her, in between Hitoban and Maname.*

Rin was still trotting among the trees looking for something else to bring back for the pack to eat. She came across another herd and quickly spotted another fairly good sized buck, she got downwind of it and started to sneak up behind it, she ran lunged and landed on the bucks back before it knew what hit it she had bitten into the back of its neck and snapped it, the buck collapsed and as soon as it had stopped twitching she grabbed ahold of it and started dragging it back to the others.

*Hitoban, now fully alert, smelled fresh blood coming their way. It smelled like a buck...wait...two bucks. And Kage and Rin. Were they out hunting? She turned to look at Mar, then at the two visitors. She looked the other way and saw Shimo, sleeping soundly. She chuckled to herself and lay her head on her paws and waited for Rin or Kage to get back so she could see what had happened while she was gone.*
