Shimo just smiled, It's working! "Go ahead and kill me, it doesn't matter now; the seal's been set. As your body shrinks, it will grow together with the dream weaver; you won't be able to remove it again without someone else's help." Everyone's going to live... good... Suddenly, it felt like Shimo's brain was going to explode. He cried out in pain, and his body flailed uncontrollably. Tsubasa flew to his side and began to speak. What?!? Too much? Gah! My body can't handle it! Then he remembered Dante's transmuting power. If I could undo what the humans did to me, maybe I'll survive maybe... He fell unconscious. Tsubasa flapped his wings wildly and frantically made bird-noise. This was bad. If he didn't wake up, he couldn't undo the humans' "modifications" on him. He could die right here.
Kage was still attached to Giga's shrinking shoulder. "Kid, no!" He snarled and managed to throw Giga off and pin him, "Ha! Not so big and powerful now, are you? Don't worry, Giga, we'll find a way to get you out of there," He sneered, "I hope you do get your own body someday, and when you do, I'll kill you personally!" You sick bastard! I hope you feel some fear of your own!

Giga snarls as he turns his head toward Kage with a wicked smile, "You will not find a way, I am burned into Wahya's soul.... there is something you should know.... WAHYA CHOSE TO KEEP ME IN HIM!" Giga snaps at Kage's legs wildly then settles, "I will let you ask him yourself!" Giga closes his eyes and his fur starts to fade into a grey coat as he laughs wickedly with a fading voice.
Wahya opens his eyes and they dilate for a second as he catches his surroundings and a sharp pain in his shoulder cuts through him, he winces. "What.... whats going on... Kage, why are you on top of me?!" Wahya fights at the ground to get up.

Kage stepped back, staring at Wahya, "You... you chose this? This monster?" He looked around. Shimo was still twitching and flailing, even though he was unconscious. His dad still couldn't get up, and somewhere, Tsuki was spitting up blood. Kage stared at Wahya with his one eye, and fumed. I can't lose control. I have to wait for him to explain. It's the right thing to do.

Wahya stands and his ears perk, eyes widen, Did he just ask..... Wahya slowly turns as his shoulder continues to bleed and looks Kage in the eye, "Did.... I choose to keep him? I......" Wahya turns his head to look away and closes his eyes, "Its..... its not what it seems.... I know he said that.... but...."
Giga laughs inside.

"Then tell me..." Kage hissed, "tell me what the hell that bastard's talking about!" He stood there, every muscle tensed against his impulse to attack, trembling like a volcano ready to erupt. His eye was fixed on Wahya with a simply mad gaze. Blood trickled down from the hole that had housed his other eye. It was as if he was tearing himself apart; everything inside him wanted to kill, but he knew better.

Wahya sighs, he figures now that it was time to reveal the truth of him, "What he said... about me choosing to keep him.... the night that my pack and mother was killed raged filled in me like a flash fire. Giga came into and I had the option to keep him out, but he promised power against my foes. At that time all I could think about was killing the poachers so I accepted his deal, but he had caught me in his trap. I did not know that he would always want out, my anger fueled him so that made it worse and falling asleep. I do not know what sleep is ever since Giga became one with me, but that day I accepted he tore through the lands killing anything that crossed his path. Somehow the indians that helped me found Giga asleep and was able to put this dream-weaver on so that it would hold his true form."
Wahya turns and looks Kage in the eye, "He is one with me, as I am one with him. If you kill one, the other dies with him so I am stuck being with him until the day I die or get killed because of him. Why do you think I separate myself from others all the time and the reason for never really to get into fights and to tell the truth, I do not even know why I am a Alpha for a pack. If I were to ever lose it around them, Giga would kill them all in a instance."

"You..." Kage was quaking, barely able to hold back, "YOU THINK IT'S THAT EASY?!?" He swiped a paw across Wahya's face, but he wanted to do... so much more. But Tsuki would never forgive him if he did, so... BAM! Another blow. His claws were withdrawn, so he didn't draw blood. "You think you can just give up like that?!? You really don't deserve everything you've got if you're just gonna roll over and pretend there's nothing you can do about it!" He hit Wahya again and again, but it didn't make him feel any better at all. At last, he gave up and stood there, "You idiot! Think for a second! We've got Dante with us, he could easily separate the-" "Kage," Mar's drained, hoarse voice interrupted, "Dante's gone." Kage just stood there in disbelief for a moment. "Fine." he said coldly, a tear trickling down his cheek, "There's still got to be something, I mean it's your body, not his; there's got to be something you can do, but you can't give up! Not until you have no strength left! Fight him, Wahya! You let him in, so you can kick him out, I'm sure of it."
Kage trotted over to Shimo's writhing body, "If you don't... if you give up, then so help me... I will kill you next time." He nudged and nuzzled Shimo, trying to wake him up, C'mon, kid... wake up. He couldn't stop the tears now. Mar, Tsuki, this kid... they'd all been hurt by this, and while he did not fear for Mar's life, he wondered if the latter two would survive. Wake up...

Wahya continues to look the way the last time Kage hit him for a second, then walks right next Kage, "You are right I don't deserve what I have, tell Nasgi he is the Alpha now of the Full Moon Pack." Wahya stands there for a moment as he looks at Shimo and the others.
He mumbles some words, "Atsvsti, Wahya Ayawasgi, Atsvsti....." Wahya looks in front of him then bursts into a sprint as he digs up the earth. He disappears into the forest in a matter of seconds.

Kage merely shrugged, "Tch... shirking your responsibilities again..."
Shimo had finally stopped moving, but that may not be a good thing. Kage stooped down quickly... he was still breathing. Kage let out a heavy sigh of relief, but Tsubasa continued to watch Shimo with his laser-point gaze. Heh, now I know why they say 'watched like a hawk' He thought, though he couldn't deny the bird's concerned look worried him as well... if only I spoke hawk...
Shimo opened his eyes, but he couldn't see anything. "Wha-? Where is everybody? Am I buried beneath the snow?" Kage put his face in front of the boy's, "No, you're okay, kid. You gave me a scare, there. That was a pretty impressive move, transmuting the dream-weaver into his neck like that." Something was wrong. Shimo still couldn't see anything but white. And what was that voice talking about? "Ungh... I... I did what? Where am I? Why can't I see anything?" Kage gasped, "You... you can't... see?" He stared at this kid... He... can't see? Can't remember what happened? "Umm..." Shimo stood up shakily, then felt fur against his supporting him, "Oh. Um, thank you. I don't believe we've met yet. I'm... I'm..." He concentrated hard, and images flashed across his memory, but they were sketchy. "Shimo. I'm Shimo." Kage smiled as he saw Mar finally get back on his feet. Mar carried Shimo back, with Tsubasa perched on his shoulder. Shimo could smell red... "Hmm? That doesn't seem right..." He took another sniff of fur, "you... smell... red? You feel familiar..." He thought about red, and the smell he... felt against his fur? Hmm... "M...Mar? That's right, isn't it?" Mar nodded, still too beat up to hold a pleasant conversation. Kage translated this into a "Yeah, that's him." for him.

Nasgi shortly comes through the brush as he comes across all of them, "Hey guys, I finally found all of you. I thought I would be lost for a moment there." Nasgi chuckles to his self as he looks around.
"So this is your lands huh? Nice place..." Nasgi catches the scent of blood and looks to the ground to see a some puddle of it. He looks back up to the others, "Was there a fight here?"

"This land belongs to Tsuki and Hitoban, not me." Kage said curtly, "Oh, by the way, that damn Wahya decided to make you the new pack leader, leaving all his responsibility... all his friends... behind for you to take care of. And yeah..." He paused and looked at Shimo, then at his father's wounds, "there was a fight." Shimo's memory was returning piece by piece, but his eyesight was not improving, "It's like all my senses are mixed up; like they don't know which part sees, and which part hears, y'know?" Then he remembered something. "The snowgem! It fell off Wahya! We've got to go back for it!" Mar chuckled, "I wondered if anybody was going to notice. Don't worry, Shimo, I've got it around my neck now. It's safe." Shimo smiled, but it was a mixed feeling. He was glad the precious snowgem was safe... but he really wished it was with Wahya. "Nasgi," Mar stopped to address the newcomer, "I suppose since you are the new leader, that this belongs to you now." He placed the gem on the ground at Nasgi's feet. "What you do with it is your business, of course, but only use it to speak with someone living today; none of that "future/past" stuff, got it? It's easy to use: just think about who you want to speak to, and start talking. They can even speak back from a great distance. I know this is a lot to throw at you at once, so please... *cough* take your... time... *cough* learning it..." Mar began to cough uncontrollably. Kage rushed to his side, "Dad! Don't overdo it! C'mon, just settle down and breath. Look, we're almost there," He said as they came upon the clearing where Tsuki and the others were, "You should get some rest once we're back together again."

Nasgi shakes his head at what Kage said, he starts to laugh thinking it is a joke, "Good one, but really where is Wahya he needs to know something." Nasgi looks over to Mar at the time he started to cough. Nasgi looks at Mar for a moment then back to Kage, but then slowly carries his stare toward his feet to see the gem. Could this be true, Wahya giving me this rank... at what cost?

Mar and Shimo laid down beside Tsuki and rested. There was no telling exactly how much damage had been done to them all. Kage pulled Nasgi aside for a private word. "It's true," He began, "Wahya removed the dream-weaver himself and let that monster out..." Kage seemed to stare off in a very listless manner, and you could see the regret in his eyes as he spoke. He recounted the battle that had just taken place and the sacrifices made. He explained Tsuki's situation, and the possible threat that still loomed over not only the three of them, but himself as well. "Shimo there was very brave, and somehow learned a technique to transmute the dream-weaver into the back of Wahya's neck; he won't be able to remove it alone anymore. If you want any more answers, then use that gem Dad gave you and ask him yourself, because as far as I'm concerned, Wahya's gone." And of course, he didn't meant that Wahya was not there, but the phrase "dead to me" would've been too cruel, he thought. There was so much to do now, and they still hadn't reached the den yet. If only Dawn and Hito were here... they'd be able to help. They must've gone for some of those funny herbs or something. The only thing that irked him more than seeing his brother and father hurt like this, was that he could not feel their pain. He too, had been injured during the fight. He had latched onto Wahya so tight, that when he slammed Shimo against the ground, it had fractured nearly every bone in his body as well. But I don't have a body. I used force-of-will to reshape it quickly enough to help; no one saw me. Wahya, if you're out there, know that I cannot die by your fangs... He looked back towards Tsuki, as long as you don't die on me, brother.

Nasgi just sits in aw what Kage told him, Why would Wahya do this, I do not know him enough to be able to accept this rank of a Alpha. Even then what am I suppose to do with this. Nasgi takes a couple steps back from Kage and the gem. "I... I don't know if I can accept that rank. I have never been in a pack to learn about this responsibility and to take something so easy that either the other wolves could get seems unworthy..."
Wahya miles away finally stops, running out of breath. He hits the ground with a thud on his shoulder that was still bleeding, and winces at that pain as he lays on the ground. My life.... no one understands my choices and why I made them.... Wahya looks over to see a blade of grass sticking out of the snow and watched as it flowed with the wind. Hmph, I can think now without Giga saying something about it... As Wahya lays there in the snow, it starts to turn red and he starts to close his eyes slowly, Maybe.... I can take a.... nap..

Kage looked at Nasgi rather non-nonchalantly, "It doesn't matter whether you know what to do or not. You think Tsuki, or even Hitoban took this kind of responsibility lightly? He still doesn't know what he's doing, but he knows what's right. If you don't think you can handle it, then go ahead and leave it to someone else... I haven't known you long enough to hate you for it." Kage turned to go have a nap alongside his wounded comrades, "If you're too weak to lead, then you won't do your pack any good as an alpha. The question isn't about physical strength; you need the inner strength of character that not even I have to lead a pack justly... dad didn't have that before, either, but he's learning from Tsuki, like I am." He chuckled as he settled down to sleep, "He'll have to go home eventually..." if he survives this... He looked to Tsuki again same for you, bro. If you and I die, then what would become of Hito and this land? What about Dawn? I wonder if she'll accept me... nah, give her time, Kage, give her time. They'll be back in no time, don't worry. The four wolves rested, while Tsubasa kept watch, wondering how many of them would ever wake up again...
