Kaze glanced up at the newcomer before looking off into the forest where his sister and Hitoban had gone. He was worried about his sister as well as hitoban and he just hoped that they would come back...alive.

Jarla stood and answered calmly. "The heart pack lies just beyond the heartless packs territory. It is the most northern pack that i know of." Jarla noticed him narrow his eyes and ask if she had come for more territory. "And no, i've not come for more territory, as i said. I came out here seeking possible new members but didn't know that another pack lived here." Jarla looked over him. From his stance she could tell he wasn't alpha but still high ranking, guessing that he was probably a Beta like her. She relaxed a little as he didn't seem like a threat at all but kept her guard up a little in case she was wrong.

Hmm... she hadn't mentioned recruitment, Kage thought to himself, I just hope she doesn't get ugly.

Tsuki grinned, You should guard your thoughts more carefully, brother.
Kage nodded, And what about you? You seem... worried.
Tsuki whimpered slightly, I am. I can't stop thinking about Hitoban. And my heart... it... it sort of... it's like it itches, or its very uncomfortable -- I don't quite understand.
Kage nodded again. Okay, I'll deal with matters here. He turned back to the crowd. "Well, gang, it's getting late. For those of you who are joining us, welcome home. For any who wish to leave, peace be with you. And for our guests from other lands, feel free to stay with us for a time. I'm afraid I must go and attend to my brother, but please, make yourselves at home here." We're going to the cave now -- no options.
He picked up Tsuki in that strange way that looked as though he were wearing him like a blanket, then leaped up the rock wall into the cave behind the waterfall.
Mar finally stood again, looking at the crowd around his massive form. He smiled sadly, "Alright, guys... I'm going to get some shut-eye. I'm sure Rin and Little Miss will be back before morning. Coming, Shimo?"
Shimo nodded, and the two headed to the grotto beneath the water. Shimo leaned against Mar for support, since his hind leg and wing were both injured . Mar then scooped Shimo onto his back and dove beneath the water.

Jarla sat down and listened as the wolf spoke. She got up again and paused for a second. Since it was getting late she wouldn't be able to get home in time at this hour. She looked to where two wolves dove into thw water. A little confused at what they were doing she hesitated a bit. When she noticed they weren't surfacing she dove in after, thinking they might be drowning. Jarla surfaced to find herself in an underwater grotto. Amazed Jarla stood, dripping wet, gazing around the grotto.

Kaze sat in the clearing still lost in thought, he stood and padded into the shadows of a tree and curled up at the base though he didn't try to sleep, he decided to stay awake until Rin and Hitoban came back. So he just laid in the shadows, and waited.

[occ]Okay, since Tsuki will be gone for a...long...while...(lol) I think now would be the time for the time jump. People can carry on with their side stories for a while and Hitoban and Rin will (hopefully) be returning soon, so as soon as everyone is home (and safe) I'll lock this thread and the next one that has both Alphas together will be in the Spring. You can make up your own "where they've beens" when we resume, but that's the gist of it. Sound good to everyone?[/occ]
