Dawn looked into Mar's eyes, and when he asked her about names, she managed to say Kaito...and...Kaori... She was surprised to find herself laughing quietly at Mar's exclamation. He was...and she was going to be a mother...because she and her pups were going to be fine...just fine...
Just...fine...

Mar nodded, "That's right. It's gonna be just fine -- but I need your help. I need you to take me to where you picked up this flower. Can you do that, Dawn?"

Dawn nodded and picked the flower up in her mouth. She wasn't sure exactly where it was, since there was no trace of where it was, but she could follow her own scent back. She climbed down the side of the waterfall and padded after her scent.

He stopped to look back at his two sons, suspended in the air, before leaving the cave in search of the mystery wolf.
