Some Wounds do not Heal

"Exactly," she said. She stood, waiting for him to make his announcement, ready and waiting if he needed her for anything at all.

Wahya begins to walk to the scent of the pack, they was not far off, but as he walked he did not speak and his breathing was very light. Wahya's thoughts racing on what he was going to say and what the pack had to say about this.

Hina took charge once the rest of the pack was in view, grabbing their attention with a series of short barks. Then she stepped aside for Wahya, and said nothing, leaving the Alpha-ing to the Alpha.

Wahya's ears flattened as she grabbed their attention, he grumbled and cursed under his breath as he looked in her direction. He regains his posture as he looks to the pack.

"I have bad news for your ears... there has been one of our own killed in cold blood." The pack immediately responded as they did not know yet that one of them was missing. "Who was it?! Will they come again?!"

Wahya's head tilts down almost in shame, "Yes... I know who did the deed, and I am sure he will surely come back for another kill." The wolves started barking for answers, "Who is it?! Is it one of our own?! WHO IS IT!"

Hina dropped her tail at Wahya's aggression, knowing that she should not fight him. However, when the pack started responding wildly, she felt she had to step in.

"Quiet!" She barked. "Let him get his words out!"

The wolves stopped as they heard Hina raise their voice, their attention on her for a moment then crawling back to Wahya. Wahya does a slight bow with his to Hina to let her know, thanks.

"Yes.. the one who did this is Giga. A foul demon that came from... from.." Wahya clears his throat as it felt something was choking him, possibly the words, "he came from me."

The pack went into a minute silence as they did not understand at first, whispers going among each other before they began to yell, "You let this happen to us?!"

Wahya continues to look at them, as much as he wanted to look away, "Yes.. but it was not intentional. I thought I destroyed him from this world, but I must of not."

Hina was proud of Wahya for getting it off of his chest. She knew that after a while he might feel better about being honest with his pack. If they turned against him, she would be there to fight them off. She had a strong voice and a stronger bite when discipline called for it.

The wolves continued to be in a uproar of what they just heard, yelling and barking at each other, "How can something like this happen?!"

A growl was slowly rising out of his throat as they continued until Wahya snapped, "QUIET! I do not want to hear this!" Yelling at the top of his lungs. "I did not teach you to be like this! I thought I showed you the way to accept anyone, even if they have secrets hidden in darkness!"

The wolves stood silent, as a couple looked upon each other with whispers, "Now I know I was holding my dark secret, but I did it out of safety for the pack."

Hina was getting angrier by the second at the pack's insubordination. She was glad when Wahya got onto them, but she didn't say anything. He was the Alpha, and it was his job to take charge and tell everyone what should be done. It was no place for her to take control.

Wahya begins to pace back and forth as he talks to them, "Giga will not hold back any inch of strength to the weak, and he will surely cut through the strongest. I do not say this to bring down the moral of everyone, but only to prepare you for whats to come from you."

The pack continue to watch, some with a strike of fear across their faces. "So when I say we need to fight as a pack, I mean everyone will have to work together in order to kill him."

Wahya stops his pacing with his body vertical to the pack, he looks to Hina, "Ladies... you can choose to fight along with the men, but if you choose to stay back to protect the little ones or yourself you will not be looked at differently."

Hina stood quietly, watching and listening to Wahya. When she was addressed, she thought for a second before replying.

"I will go wherever I am needed. I can fight with the strength of a male, and I can protect pups as well as a seasoned mother."

She figured she might be better suited leading the females, just in case there wasn't a strong fighter among them. If they were alone and unprotected, Giga might go after them instead of the males. However, if there were strong fighters among them to protect each other, she would be better on the front lines with the males.

Wahya nods as he turns his body toward the pack again, "I have said what needs to be said, the now is the time to prepare for a battle as Giga will surely come back." Wahya's eyes wander to the side, The only thing I worry is... what if he is not alone anymore...

The wolves stood silent, Wahya looks back to them, "Go, prepare!" The wolves soon scattered some out of sight and some still in sight talking with each other.

Wahya continues to stand letting out a long breath, it had seem he was holding it in the whole time.

Hina padded over to Wahya once the wolves had dispersed, and she smiled at him. It had taken a lot of courage to do what he had done, and she was proud of him. She sat, looking at the pack skittering about.

"So Wahya, where is it you would have me?"

Wahya continues to breath until he catches his breath, then looking to Hina, "I am not sure Hina, both the females and males here are well fit for defense. The only thing I worry is how they will deal with Giga when they see him... he is not a normal wolf."

Wahya looks back to the pack, still preparing, "I would rather you not get into this battle, but I am at no point to hold anyone back."

Hina shrugged and decided that she would travel between both of them and see who needed her most. She sat down and waited for things to begin.
