...too bad I'll be staffing a camp this weekend, or I'd be in the tournament on the 8th... I guess I'll just play it when I get home...

I bet my brother could knock you off that golden pedestal pretty quickly. Not to say you're bad, just saying that he's ungodly awesome at it. If I play him, he's won a five match game in about four minutes. XD

*sighs* I don't have the system needed to play Brawl. >.< Shame, as it looks like fun. I did do pretty good on the first one, way back for the N64.
But sorry you have to miss it, Tsukikage.

And at least you get to play it again once you're finished. Just sorry you'll have miss the tournament. Maybe next time. ^^

Okay, so I didn't make the tournament, but I still got my hands on the game, and may I say OMGSONICFTW!!! His moves are amazing, and his Final Smash, Super Sonic, is seriously OP (that's Over Powered, fyi), so he's basically an amazing character, but he's fast and has 0 ranged attacks, so fighting someone like Zelda, with her Din's Fire (which seriously got buffed this time around) can be tricky. Not only that, but all of Sonic's moves have a charge time, so someone else could easily hit you to stop that homing attack or spin dash from finishing it's charge. Another downside is that he is so fast in his super form, that if you aren't careful, you could fly right off the stage and kill yourself. As far as close combat goes, Sonic's best attacks are areal; his up and down smashes don't knock you too far, but deal more dmg than his horizontal smash, and he doesn't have Fox's attack speed. If he gets in the are, he has a variety of combos he can hit you with, then follow it up with a homing attack and another areal attack. In a 3 or 4 player match, Sonic will try to keep his distance, then charge in with a spin dash. You can jump out of a spin dash by hitting A, knocking enemies into the air, where you can combo a couple of them. In a 1-on-1 duel, the best strategy is to juggle the opponent with midair and homing attacks, then use the dive kick (down+A in mid-air) to launch your opponent away.
Basically, if you want to beat Sonic, don't give him any space; you have to get in his face and pummel him before he can use a special move. This is all from observations I've made while playing Sonic myself, so I'm looking at what kinds of things hamper my effectiveness, and that's no room and no time, even then, sword fighters seem to be able to knock me out of a spin dash or homing attack with relative ease. Anyway, I hope this is useful to all you who play the game. Oh yeah, and if you want to dodge Super Sonic, get behind as many walls as you can. His problem is maneuverability, so some spots in Hyrule Temple, where the walls are close together, are ideal.

I like the one I made there because I was like *glomp* "OMG IT'S GOOD!" You know, because I never make anything that good, and I like Kaz's cause it's good and realistic. So, you know. *shrugs*
