Tsuki couldn't look Hitoban in the face. "What was that, huh?" He said, sadly, "That's not like me, I... I'm sorry, Heets, I just..." He nuzzled her back, "I... I don't know, I was scared; scared that if he did come with us he might try and..." He began to cry into Hito's shoulder, "I would've killed him if he tried anything with you... I... I couldn't lose you, Hitoban." He turned away again, staring into the sky, "He's leaving, isn't he? I hope... I hope he'll be okay. I mean, I don't like the guy, but I hope he'll be okay." His gaze fell to the ground, "I behaved badly, didn't I, Hito?"
Kage decided to remain silent, this was between the two of them. He looked at Dawn inquisitively, then made sure to take note of everyone's positions. Dante and Mar were at the woods' edge, and Rin had gone after Dante, so he could assume she wasn't far behind. Tsuki and Hitoban were off in their own conversation. Wahya was nearby, but out of earshot if he was discreet about it. He really wanted to know what Hitoban had whispered about... In her mind... hmm... He nuzzled Dawn and whispered softly into her ear, "I need to talk to you..." *nuzzle* "alone if we can?" *nuzzle* "Before we move again..." *nuzzle* "Or maybe at our next stop. Up to you." He pressed his forehead against hers and looked into her eyes. He smiled at her, coyly, trying not to let on that this was anything special.
Mar and Dante watched the whole thing, and let out a collective sigh of relief. Dante turned back to look for Rin. She was no doubt on her way, but she was carrying something very precious, so he couldn't help but be concerned.

*Hitoban shook her head.*
"No...No I understand what you were feeling. I would've done the same thing...it only gives me more proof that you love me. Yes, he's going back...he's going back home...to his pack...where he belongs...I'm sure he'll be fine. A broken heart is easy to heal if you have the right tools..."
*Dawn half-smiled at Kage and looked deep into his eyes searchingly.*
What are you thinking Kage? Sure, we can talk...what is it you want to say?

Rin walked out of the trees and streched before sitting down, the pendant was still partially consealed under her fur. She watched Hitoban and the others conversations but not really paying any attention to them for she was distracted by hunger, even as she thought about it her stomach growled loudly, but she ignored it, she'd eat once everyone else got hungry.

Kage looked around at the others, "Er, is it okay if Dawn and I get a bite to eat? I can't go far, so we shouldn't be long."
Tsuki nodded, then turned to Hitoban, "Yeah, thanks..." He nuzzled her affectionately.
Kage led Dawn away from ear shot, "Ok, so... I have a few things I need to talk to you about. First off, I overheard Hitoban... I didn't want to say anything, 'cause I figured you would when you were ready, but I need to know, are you and Twilight just a part of Hito? Like me and Tsuki? I just... I'm too curious for my own good, it seems." He smiled, "I thought it'd be best if I asked discreetly."

*Dawn got a little defensive when Kage started talking about overhearing her conversation with Hitoban, but when he asked if they were a part of Hitoban, she couldn't help but laugh.*
No, no...It's nothing like that. Twilight and I are twins. We were born in the same 24-hour space, but I was born last. Mother gave birth to Twilight during the twilight hour and myself when the sun was just rising, at Dawn. We were both born with strange crescent moons on our foreheads, and Mother and Father thought they were just birthmarks. They weren't. They allowed us to communicate with each other through our minds...a sort of twin telepathy. Well, when I left home, I would talk to Twilight every night for comfort, since I had never been alone before. When I met Hitoban, we formed a bond, and Twilight was in on the bond because he could hear everything I heard, see everything I saw. He fell in love with Hitoban before he ever met her. When Mother died, he used it as an excuse to come and meet Hitoban. He very easily could have just told me through his mind to save himself the trouble of traveling all that way, but he wanted to meet her. By now, Hitoban had already formed a strong bond with me, and we were connected by the heartstrings. She never loved Twilight as anything but a brother, but he longed for her so much. One day, Hitoban was distraught over something and I reached out to her with my mind, like I often did to calm her. I would sing in my mind and transfer the thought to her, and she would calm down as if she were a baby being lulled to sleep. Well, I started to sing and something happened. She must have opened her mind, anticipating my song, and I got...well i got pulled into her mind. Katashi and Kazumi were there, and there were memories on black and white screens everywhere, as well as many pictures of people she had met and colored markings. It was incredibly confusing, and then Kazumi explained that I was inside Hitoban's mind. Shortly after, Twilight joined me, a little worried that he couldn't hear my thoughts anymore. Twilight has the same bond with Hitoban that I have, even though he wasn't the one who made it, so he has the power to go in and out of Hitoban's mind whenever he's near her, just as I do. It's rather strange really...but what's stranger is that Hitoban does not have the ability to come into our minds. I really don't understand all of it, but I hope I've shed some light on it for you.
*Hitoban's ear twitched when she heard Rin's stomach growl and she chuckled softly.*
"Well, I'm terribly hungry, so who wants to go fishing?" *She flashed a grin and looked toward the sparkling lake.*

Wahya shrugs, "I am not all that hungry, but I could eat.... so I am up for it."
Wahya stands up and stretches as far as he can then stands waiting for Hitoban.

*Hitoban looks to the others, then to where Dawn and Kage had gone off to. She sat back down.*
"I think we should wait for Dawn and Kage, seeing as Kage can't move that far away from Tsuki."

Rin realized that her stomach had been heard and chuckled quietly. "I'll come fishing with you guys...." she said and she walked over to Hitoban and sat down to wait for Dawn and Kage.

Kage blinked at Dawn incredulously, "So... you can... put stuff in other people's heads? That's amazing! I mean, even if it's only Hitoban, that's still cool. Though if Twilight can do it too, that concerns me..." He sighed, "Well, good, you had me worried there for a sec. So the second thing I wanted to... know... about..." He seemed incredibly uncomfortable all of a sudden. It was time to discuss the other thing on his mind... "Er, so, uh..." He blushed and broke eye contact, suddenly very nervous, "Y'know, when we settle in here and everything... uh... I was wondering... did... um, I mean... would you... maybe... start a family with me, Dawn?" He stared at her for a few seconds, blushed, then ran. Stupid! Stupid! STUPID! Ugh, that's not how you practiced it, Kage, you imbecile!
Unfortunately, he hadn't realized which direction he'd run; the opposite direction of Tsuki. His head felt like it was going to explode, and his vision blurred. He ran head-first into a tree with such force that several roots popped out of the ground, causing the tree to lean. He also compacted his own body, making loud crunching noises, as bones smashed into each other, or forced themselves through his skin.
Tsuki sensed that Kage'd gone too far, and ran quickly in his brother's direction, calling back to the others, "Kage's gone past his limit! I've got to get closer to him! Don't worry, he can't die. Go ahead and start the hunt, we'll catch up!"
He came into the clearing, staring at the pile of bones and blood fade away, replaced by Kage's image. He was a bit scratched up from the puncture wounds, but it was nothing life-threatening, and the wounds were fading away. Kage was laughing and crying, "I'm such a klutz! Maybe this wasn't such a good idea..."
Tsuki sighed from relief, You asked her?
Kage couldn't move his body yet, but chuckled softly, Yeah... I... I guess I did. He was surprised himself to have finally gotten the guts to ask her. She's amazing, Tsuki. I want... I want to be with her forever... but I had to know if she felt the same... I don't wanna be just a passing fancy.
Tsuki shook his head, chuckling softly to himself, Yeah, I know... So what'd she say?
Kage had landed on his left side, so he couldn't see a thing. He wanted nothing more than to see Dawn again, to know she was still there. I... I don't know yet.

Kira, a wolfess from the Full Moon Pack had followed the scent of the others and came into Hitobans Territory, she looked around and saw Hitoban, rin and wahya, she smiled and walked over. "hi, i got a little sidetracked earlier"

Mar turned to greet the newcomer, "Hey there, little lady! What brings you here?"
His massive figure towered over her, like an immense cliff face overshadowing a tree in some valley. He thought his size would be a bit daunting, so he lowered his large head to eye level, "I haven't seen you around, but you seem to know Hitoban, so you're welcome here." He smiled.
Dante hopped off Mar's back and nodded. It was time for another transmutation. The work was nearly completed. Mar looked at Dante, then Kira, "Excuse me, miss, I have some business to attend to." He stepped off to the side with Dante. Dante drew the appropriate circles on Mar's flesh, then took some snow in his mouth and plunged it into Mar's chest before it could melt. The snow turned red with blood, and tears of pain trickled down Mar's face, but there was no sound. The snow melted into his chest, and there was no wound. The only thing left were white petals that sprouted from him and floated gracefully to the ground before disappearing.
Mar caught Dante, and they both rested.

Kira chuckled at the male who spoke to her. "sure" she looked to rin and smiled. "nice to see you too rin, i just got sidetracked a long while ago, its taken me ages to find you lot again, i hear this is hitobans territory am i right?"

"Yeah, hers and mine." Tsuki said as he emerged from the tree-line. He'd decided to leave Kage and Dawn to their moment. Kage would regenerate his image soon enough. Besides, he was still in touch with Kage, so if something did happen, he'd know.
"Welcome," He said. A smile began to spread across his face, full of pride and contentment. "This is our home." Tsuki beamed. He seemed so much more powerful and wise, nothing like the pup he'd been all his life. He'd really become an adult now, and took his role as the alpha male very seriously. Then he noticed that he had forgotten about their guest in his musings. He turned and smiled sheepishly, "Hehe, you're welcome to stay if you like. I think we were about to get some food." The proud and strong "alpha" appearance vanished, leaving behind the familiar little kid that everyone knew so well. He giggled, "By the way, my name is Tsuki, what's yours?"
