*Hitoban was the first one to emerge from the trees into the meadow. The sun smiled down on the bright white snow and the ice-covered lake. The trees were bare, but overall nothing had changed. She smiled as she remembered her puppy days, but as soon as she stepped into the sun she started having graphic flashbacks of the day Missy came. She shook her head to try and clear it and took a few more steps in, only to be stopped once more by those unpleasant memories. She stopped and started crying, the tears streaming down her face, her howls long and mournful.*

Wahya shorlty comes behind her and looks around at the lands. "Wow, it is as great as you said it was Hito.." As Wahya turns to look at her, he notices he crying.
"Hitoban...... whats wrong?"

*Hitoban fights to stop crying, but she can't. She can't even summon the strength to answer him. She drops to the ground, still sobbing and whimpering, tears dropping to the ground and melting little holes in the snow. Memories flood her mind and she squeezes her eyes shut, trying to avoid them but only making them worse. Dawn sees her and rushes over, speaking calming words that only make things worse because she has no idea why she's so upset. Dawn finally gives up and walks back over to Kage, tears rolling down her cheeks as well.*

Tsuki's heart began to hurt as well. He trudged over to Hitoban, and moved his face close to hers. He flinched slightly, but he wanted to be there for her, so his resolve kept him standing by her side.

Wahya stands there for a moment then thinks, Ok, Dante said I could talk to other with this gem.... maybe I can talk to Kazumi...
Wahya focuses on talking to her, "Kazumi..... what is wrong with Hitoban.... tell me if you can hear me...."

*Hitoban moves closer to Tsuki, enveloping herself in his warmth. She still can't stop crying, but she can bring it down a little bit.*
*Inside Hitoban's mind, Wahya's voice echoes. Hitoban can't hear it, but Katashi and Kazumi can. Random images flash at random intervals, revealing themselves to Wahya as well. What he sees is a spacious room with two wolves in it. There are three brightly colored pillows, one with the name Katashi, one with Kazumi, and one with Hitoban. There are two almond-shaped windows on the right side showing the outside world. There are random pictures on the walls- one of Ai, one of Ryuu, one of Dawn, Tsuki, Kage, Mar, Wahya, one of Missy with a giant red X on it, Twilight with a big blue X on it, one of Akio, one of Tsubaki, one of Ai's mangled remains with a big X on it, one of Akio's remains with a big X, and other wolves she'd met in the past. They took up the walls and the floor and the ceiling. All of her memories flashed on little TV screens standing on faces on the floor.*
So he's finally figured it out. Hello there, you idiot!
Quiet, Katashi. He is talking to me. If you haven't seen the images yet, just look here.
*Kazumi walked over to one of the TV screens where the scene of her mother's death played over and over.*

Wahya shakes his head, How in the world..... man this gem is weird!
Hey I am not aruging, I get to see whats in your pathetic friend's mind![/b] Giga just laughs wickedly as he stands by Wahya.
Wahya only glares at him and walks over to the screen as Giga stands where he is with a dirty grin.
Wahya looks at the screen and studies it, So this is what is on Hitoban's mind.... Wahya looks over to Kazumi, Cant you just get rid of the memory, like destroy it?

Tsuki tried to feel Hito's heart for a solution, but all he felt was pain and sadness. It was difficult to tell, so he just nuzzled her to try and calm her down.
Kage nuzzled Dawn, and whispered, "Any ideas, Dawn?" Then he noticed that she was also in tears, so he gave up trying to find out about it in favor of comforting her as well.

*Kazumi glared at Giga while she spoke. Katashi walked over to Giga and returned his wicked smile.*
You know we can see in your mind too Giga. Not right now, but any time we fell like it. Now that Wahya has connected minds with us, we can travel freely back and forth. Be prepared for random visits.
No sadly, we cannot. The only way to get rid of a memory is if she forgets it. Examples are being born and puphood. Look around you at the pictures. You see the ones with the red X's on them? Those are the ones she blocks out, pretending she forgot them, but certain triggers bring them up again. Look at the picture of Twilight. You see how it's X has turned blue? That mans the memory has been triggered. You see the things she's thinking about on the screens. They're all black and white until she thinks of them, then they go into color. the more vivid the color, the longer she's been thinking about it. There can be more than one color screen at a time, but it's uncommon. When she's thinking about one of the people, their picture glows, see? Look at Tsuki and Ai's pictures. They're glowing red. now look at Missy's. See how it's black instead? Different opinions are connected to different people. Red is love, black is hatred, blue is neutral.

Rin was the last to walk out of the forest, seeing Hitoban and Dawn crying she sits and the edge of the forest and looks out over the snowy land. She layed down in the snow and imedieataly blended into the snow, all that could be seen of her was her eyes, but after a short while she layed her head on her paws and started to doze very lightly.

Wahya looks at the examples given to him by Kazumi. Well i see... so what do we do to cheer her up? I mean is she usually like this when she looks back to this memory?
Giga just smiles wickedly back at Katashi. Oh don't worry, I expect you to come into my nightmares. And oh how sweet it will be when you see the things I have done with Wahya's body. You might even get to see why he gets so angry when he looks back to his pack and mother...[/i] Giga just laughs wickedly at Katashi.
Wahya thinks for a moment then looks back to Katashi and Kazumi, So I guess we will have to play the waiting game then until she gets under control.

Tsuki was bearing the pain, but it was starting to take it's toll. His seal slowly began to turn black. He nuzzled Hitoban some more. "Hey," He whispered, "talk to me Heets, what's goin' on? I'm here for you, but I can't hold out much longer, you've got to help me help you."
Kage felt useless, he could feel Tsuki's will starting to fail... He whispered to Dawn, "Tsuki needs my strength, I'll be back, ok?"
He faded away and Tsuki glowed blue, growing larger and stronger.
Tsuki let out a sigh of relief, Thanks, Kage.
Yeah, no problem, that's what I'm here for.
What about Dawn?
Tsuki looked back at Dawn for a moment, looking at her with one green eye. The other had turned pale white. She's a bit shook up, but we've got to help Hitoban now, you keep talking to her, I'll bear the pain for you.
Tsuki's eyes turned blue again, and he turned his attention back to Hitoban, "I'm right here, Hito, whatever it is, we can face it together."
Mar and Dante knew that there was little they could do, but Mar went to Dawn, "My boys are doing everything they can to help her," He looked over at Wahya's distracted stare, "looks like Wahya's helping too; everyone's doing what we can, so don't worry." He wasn't sure how effective his words would be at reassuring her, he just knew that Dawn's sadness would distract Kage, and Tsuki needed him right now. C'mon, Hitoban, He thought, you're stronger than this.

*Dawn took three deep breaths and disappeared. She looked into Hitoban's mind and saw Wahya and Giga. She stepped down inside her mind and lunged at Giga, knocking around a TV screen. It suddenly lit up and Dawn looked at it to see if she had done any major damage. the screen replayed Hitoban's mother talking to her. Dawn looked around and spotted Wahya. She trotted over to him and spoke in harsh, quiet tones.*
What are you doing in here?? You let Giga in! Now he knows Hitoban's strengths and weaknesses. If he wants to, he can come in here whenever he wants and leave you behind! You could have forced him to stay behind too, you know. Though that would mean he would have complete control of your body and it would be difficult for you to get back in...but you shouldn't have come in here! But... She sighed and looked around. Now that you're here, you might as well help me. When you run into one of these screens, that memory flickers on. If we get enough good memories on before she shoves them out, then we can make her stop crying. That's normally Kazumi's job she looked at Kazumi scoldingly but I doubt she would've been able to do it on her own anyway. And since you came and distracted her, it would have been even harder. Now, find happy memories about her mother and father and head butt them. You have to do it fairly hard or they won't activate. If the screen lights up in color, then she's remembering it. If you see one of the happy memories go back to black and white, hit it again. We have to act quickly to make her forget this sad occasion in her past.
*The screen Dawn had just run into faded back to black and white, so she turned around and hit it again. It flickered to life and she turned to find another good memory. She bounced off of three good memories in a row and Kazumi joined her. The memory of Missy killing her mother slowly started to fade back to black and white with the more color screens coming to color.*
Be careful not to hit a bad memory or that will make one of the good one go off and strengthen the trigger memory-the one of Missy killing her mother. Kazumi skidded and twirled in a circle, hitting four screens, three of them coming to life. She kicked the one she missed and moved across the room to find more.
*On the outside, Hitoban stopped crying hysterically and now only a few stray tears and the occasional sob plagued her.*
"Ts...Tsuki...? Tsuki..." *She nestled her head into Tsuki's fur and let a few more tears loose.*
*On the inside, the windows cleared up, and only the bottom half were warped with tears. Tsuki's picture glowed brighter and Kazumi smiled. Katashi smiled too, even though she was trying to put on a pure evil facade so Giga didn't interfere with the others' work.*

Rin was still asleep in the snow, she was listening to the coversation but she knew she was still unnoticed considering she blended with the snow, she decided to doze until the others noticed she was missing.

*Hitoban shook her head and the tvs rolled around inside. Katashi, Kazumi, and Dawn all went to bare them so they didn't fall, and then continued their work. Katashi went back to talking to Giga and the other two continued flicking on memories. Finally the bad memory faded to black and white and Dawn and Kazumi stopped running around and fell to the floor, panting.*
Yes...we did it...She should stop crying now. Now Wahya get you and that plague out of here before she notices you.
*On the outside, Dawn re-appeared where she had been standing before and looked around. Nothing had really changed and she hoped no one had noticed her disappearance. That would be difficult to explain...*
*Hitoban looked at Tsuki's face with tear-soaked eyes and smiled. She managed to speak clearly even though she was still a bit shaken up.*
"Tsuki...thank you. I'm sorry about that...this place just brought back a few...unwanted memories."
*She buried her face in his warm fur and whispered "I love you Tsuki..." into his chest.*
