Dawn leaned against Kage, utterly exhausted, and sighed. It was over. But how long would the calm last? It seems that Tsuki and Kage's whole family is bent on killing us at least once. Oh well, it's a trade she wouldn't give up for the world. It's good to have someone to lean on and someone to dash into a cave to save your skin... She stayed silent, her head down, and she said a silent prayer for everything-Oben, Mar, everyone there, and that things would stay calm for a while.
Katashi pouted for a while, disappointed for one that she missed and that she didn't get to kill him. Coward went and killed himself. She didn't know him, therefore she cared for him not. She sighed and allowed Hitoban to regain control and as soon as the familiar coloring reappeared she walked over to Tsuki, standing beside him. She could see the whole thing from behind Katashi's eyes and hear everything through her ears, just as the both of them were completely aware of Hitoban's surroundings. That's how they know everyone's names and can put them to faces.
Maname sat down with Daisuke still standing beside her and Hina padded over to join them, thinking it was about time she stuck close to them for a while. After all, Maname would be separated from them soon, when Hina and Daisuke had to leave.

[[ooc: I think this is an appropriate place to start a new thread. We can't just keep cramming all of the stories into one thread like this. Anyway, things are settled down, so a time-warp would be fine here, as well, but definitely a new thread. And hey, I know Hito and Tsuki are the alphas here, but that doesn't mean the rest of you guys can't start a thread if you've got a story to tell, y'know. Take charge! Tell your own story! Of course, Tsuki loves the company, but you guys shouldn't keep being side characters in our little story, y'know? This would be the perfect opportunity to take a staring role in your own story *wink-wink*. Of course, I won't stop you if you enjoy just chillin' with us, or if your muse is just not giving you anything to work with. Alrighty, I'll stop here before it becomes a wall of text. ^_~]]

Rin pulled herself out of the water and laid on the edge. The water was between her and the others, though she knew they were all busy with their thoughts. She turned her head in time to see her brother Kaze walk out of the trees, he stopped at her side. "Where have you been Kaze?" she asked though her voice was void of emotion. "I...got a bit lost." Rin rolled her eyes. "I could have guessed that much...oh well, at least you found us again..." as she finished her sentence she saw a white blur in the part of the forest that Kaze had just came from. She turned to look back at the others and she sighed before turning to her brother. "Kaze, I have something that I should have taken care of a long time ago.....tell the others that I don't know if I'll be back...and farewell..."
Kaze shook his head, "Leave the past alone Rin....They are too strong for you and you know it." Rin smiled, "Yes I know that they are too strong for me but if I don't go to them then they'll come here...and I don't want them to cause anymore trouble then what has already happened here....therefore I can't just let the past go." She padded over to her brother and nuzzled him for what could be the last time. "Farewell brother, please pass on my message to the others..." Kaze nodded, "Alright my sister...I will...Farewell." Rin stepped back, turned and was gone into the forest in a flash. Kaze looked at the spot where his sister vanished, "May our ancestors watch over you, and for the sake of our friends come back alive..." He then turned dove into the pond, swam across and pulled himself out on the otherside. Once his fur was shook out he padded over close to the others and sat down, not wanting to interupt their silence.

[[ooc: Or... we could do that... lol. Oh well... I suppose that a new thread would make the transition choppy right here. I'll start a new one once the moment has passed.]] Shimo watched Rin whisper something to the stranger. Information, perhaps. He approached with a limp, watching Rin as she headed out. He spoke in hushed tones, so as not to disturb the others. "So... where is she going?" He didn't care to ask who he was or even how he knew Rin -- he just wanted to know where she was going, and possibly even why, but where was enough for starters. "Don't speak too loudly -- someone dear has died. Even so, be quick about it... Rin is going to deal with those other wolves, am I right? I saw -- er, 'heard' her get attacked yesterday. Is that where she is going?"

Kaze glanced over at Shimo and nodded, "Yes, she's going after the ones who attacked her...she says farewell to you all...and that she doesn't know if she'll be back..." he whispered. He glanced back at the forest with a pained expression on his face, "she would have told you all personally but she knew that you all would have tried to stop her....and she said that she didn't want to cause you all any more trouble...." he sighed and hung his head.

Shimo wanted to cry. They'd all gone to so much trouble to keep everyone safe, and Rin was heading right back out into danger all alone. He started to limp his way past the stranger, but realized that his injured wing and hind leg would inevitably render him useless. "What are you still doing here, then?" He demanded, still in hushed tones, "Go after her! She can't take them alone, I saw what happened to her last time. I'd be of little use, but I'm sure you can help her." He paused a moment, his eyes suddenly downcast. "No... she wouldn't want that, would she? I mean, well... I'm sorry, I don't even know you, and I'm sending you off on some fool's errand. I'm not alpha here, anyway. I'm sure Lady Hitoban and Tsuki would be more than happy if you'd stay."

Hitoban saw a flash of silver and looked over to see the wolf that Rin had been with before talking to her. She spoke to him and he nodded, then Rin turned and went off into the woods. Hitoban was about to go and ask where she'd gone when Shimo apparently did it for her. She was a bit worried about Rin, but she decided to wait until she could talk to the black wolf herself to hear what is going on. With the recent happenings, Shimo might try to sugarcoat it and she wanted none of that in her ears. She wanted the truth.
For now, however, they all stood in solemn silence.

Kaze shook his head and continued to talk in hushed tones, "No, Rin wouldn't want that....she feels like this is something that she has to take care of....whether she returns or not...and since I was once one of the ones who tormented her I will not try to stop her....but believe me..I would go after her, but as her brother..I will respect her request....and for the moment I'll stay, everyone else deserves to know too i guess, expecially the alphas...but I will wait till they are done mourning."

Mar finally rose. "We should... all get some rest; enjoy what peace we can have... who knows when fate will throw something else our way." He looked so drained, like he'd just been worked to the bone in some grueling desert. He straightened himself up and turned to head indoors. Tsuki nodded, then addressed the newcomer. "Rin's gone. You her brother or something? I could tell she cares for you quite a bit." A few other emotions as well, but that's normal, I guess. "You're welcome to stay as long as you like, but I'm afraid we don't have much in the way of food stores right now. The season is fair for hunting, though, so feel free." He turned back to the pack... that seemed somehow strange to him. I wonder how many will stay on... It doesn't matter, I won't turn anyone away if they choose to stay, and I won't hold it against them if they move on. "Okay people, looks like we've finally got time to get settled in. Take this time to get familiar with the area, and to make up your mind as to whether or not you wish to stay with us. We don't have stores of food yet, so the evening meal is up to you. If you need me, I'll be in the cave behind the waterfall, otherwise, I'll see you when you get back. Make sure you return before nightfall, and stay safe." [[ooc: This is your que to disperse.]]

Kaze looked over to Tsuki as he spoke and nodded respectfully, "Thank you Tuski, and yes I am her brother..." he paused for a few seconds before continueing," And if I may I would like to speak with you...alone....I have a message from my sister that she asked me to pass on to you, after that it is up to you weather to pass it on to the others, or keep it to yourself..." He sat patiently awaiting Tsukis' answer.

Tsuki motioned the wolf to follow him into the cave.

Maname looked at Hitoban, then at her siblings. She knew this was their parting. She padded up to Hitoban and dipped her head.
Lady Hitoban I am going to say goodbye to my siblings and then go to bed.
"Of course, Maname. Are you not hungry?"
No...I just need some sleep. My first real experience with how things will be from time to time has worn me out.
Hitoban smiled knowingly and nodded. She saw the newcomer who smelled like Rin speak to Tsuki and then follow him into the cave. She thought it might be concerning Rin so she followed, catching up to them and then speaking.
"If this concerns me I would like to be let in on the conversation." She was almost sure it involved her. If there was a newcomer here talking to the Alpha, who's to say he wouldn't address the Alphess as well? She waited on their reply patiently.
Meanwhile, Maname had padded back over to her siblings with her head down. They sat side by side, across from her, looking at her with stern eyes.
I suppose this is goodbye then... You're sure you won't stay?
You're sure you won't go?! Hina's tone was firm, angry, and hurt.
You have no room to talk Hina! You're both abandoning me. You've both got packs now when we all swore we'd never join another pack. We swore we'd stick together and now look at you. I don't even know if it's worth sticking around to hear your apologies.
At his harsh words, Hina had moved to the side. Now they made a triangle in the grass, each facing the other two. Hurt, angry looks were on all faces. All but Maname's. Hers was only hurt. She held no anger in her heart because she knew she was the one doing the abandoning. All three looked at the ground, then Daisuke broke the silence. His voice was cracked and naught but a whisper. It was choked and came out as a kind of squeak.
How am I supposed to protect you now?[/i]
You're the one that needs protecting Brother! We've got a whole pack-possibly two due to the friendship of the alphas-to protect us. It's just going to be you against the world now.
Tears welled in Maname's eyes and Hina barked at her. Her eyes were squinted and twitching to hold back the tears that threatened to erupt from her eyes.
There will be no tears today. Just as she finished her sentence, a tear rolled down her cheek. None at all.
Maname took a step forward, lop-siding the triangle. She looked at Daisuke. Brother, I love you. She looked at Hina. And I love you, Sister.
Hina took a step forward as well. I love you too, Little Sis. Brother. We will always love you.
Daisuke, now trembling with his sobs, stepped forward and since he couldn't choke out any words any longer, he threw his head back and howled. Hina joined in and soon after Maname completed the chord. They created a sad melody, perfectly blending with each having a moving part in turn. When they were through, they all looked at each other, then turned and walked away, each going a different direction. No more words were said. No more sounds were made, no more tears fell.
Except one. No one could see it, but as Maname hit the watter, going down to the grotto, one more tear escaped her eye.
Daisuke stopped at the trees' edge and looked back. Maname was already gone. Hina was still there. He sighed and walked away, into the cover of the trees, already becoming the stealthy tracker he had always been and will always be. He may never be seen again by his sisters, but one thing was certain: he'd see them again.
Hina padded up to Wahya and lowered her head a bit. It was time she gave an apology.
Wahya I'm sorry for what I said. You may not remember anymore, but I do and it's killing me to not make up for it. I'm sorry and I would really love it if you would allow me to be in your pack.

Wahya snaps to reality as he hears a voice, he looks over to see Hina with a lowered head. "You do not have to lower your head, it was mainly my fault that made you said what you did so I should be the one to give the apology."
Wahya catches the last part of that sentence, "Well.... everyone did say I need at least a Beta in the pack..." Wahya glances over Hina to notice everyone had either move or left, he turns his attention back to her, "but I do not see any reason why you can't be one of my pack." Wahya half smiles as he finishes his sentence, "So how about it.... Beta?"

Hina listened to his words and felt a little better. He had forgiven her, though in an unconventional way-by pinning it on himself. She was about to argue when he finished his thought. Beta? He wanted her to be Beta female? That's quite an honor. She smiled and looked back up at him, her eyes sparkling.
You bet!
[occ]Wahya, I think this should be the wrap-up post so we can finish the one in the cave and then have a little time-jump. Your next post is going to end this thread.[/occ]
