Difficult to say, really... I guess it looks too much like smut and gore rolled together. I guess I could give it a chance before passing judgment...

I like it, but the rest of my family doesn't have the same taste for it that I do. I suppose I could sum it up for you Tsuki (hopefully without spoiling anything) like this: - Girl = lycan (werewolf-ish type thing for those who don't know).
- Girl's family = clan of lycans
- Girl's job = chocolate store
- Boy = Tormented artist
- Boy = Human
- Boy = Lycan manga artist
- Boy and Girl meet
- Girl knows Boy isn't good news
- Boy knows nothing of Girl's Lycan-ness and immediately falls for her
- Girl starts to fall for Boy
- Romance between Boy and Girl with slight gore from Girl's Cousin on the side stories
- Girl's Cousin tells Boy of Girl's secret
- Boy freaks out
- Girl gets mad
- Girl's Uncle finds out
- Girl's Uncle = bad news
- Girl's Uncle tells Girl's Cousin to kill Boy
- Boy knows nothing
- Girl tries to save him
- Girl gets hurt
- Boy realizes he's wrong (yada yada)
- Boy and Girl team up...
AND if I tell any more it will spoil it. So not too much gore. When the Cousin kills the girl you don't see it and there's not many swears (that I can remember). Altogether a good movie that doesn't have as much gore and smut as some people think it might and definately worth checking out. I give it a Seven at the least. |
