Reunion

[Rynn]

A black wolf with sapphire blue eyes padded through the forest, she didn't know where she was but she did know that she was intruding on someone's territory. But she didn't really mind, maybe whoever found her might be able to tell her where her siblings went, she kept padding through the forest searching.

Daisuke heaved a sigh and sat down. The sun was beginning to sink below the horizon, barely visible through the trees in the forest, and he was hopelessly lost. What a turn of events his life had taken. He's never been lost once in his entire life. Now he was lost in familiar territory. He thought it probably had something to do with his abstract mind, not focusing on the scents in the area, and so he sat down to take a break. He was looking for the waterfall cave where Hitoban should be with Maname nearby, but he couldn't pick up her scent anywhere but behind him. There were no other wolves nearby, all of the ones he recognized underground. That grotto was a curse and a blessing for Hitoban. It was impossible for people to find it unless they already knew where it was, but that also meant that friends who were looking for people inside it had to depend on the smells around it to lead them there. It was trying on his patience, to say the least.

Suddenly, a fresh scent caught his attention. It wasn't too far off-a female that he'd never scented before. He stood, determined to focus his mind, and began to follow the trail. He picked up his pace and found that he was soon gaining on her. Her trail was curvy and aimless, not really appearing to go anywhere in particular, so he figured that she must be lost or just not caring. Whatever the case, he slowed as he spotted her. A black female in the dimming light, her bright blue eyes clearly visible from his safe distance away. He let out a warning noise-just a small bark to let her know that he was there-and entered into the expanse of trees she was in. He dipped his head casually and stood a few feet from her. He didn't bother to feel threatened, simply because she didn't appear threatening. He was, however, subtly cautious.

"Hello. I am Daisuke. Might I ask your destination?"

[Rynn]

The black female jumped as she heard a small bark and turned and looked at the wolf that came out of an expanse of trees. She shook her fur and slowly sat down looking calm, she bowed her head in greeting. "Hello Daisuke, actually I'm just looking for my two younger siblings....but I haven't a clue as to where they are.....and just hopeing to find someone who might have seen them..so I guess you could just say I'm passing through."

Daisuke listened to the black female patiently, and nodded when needed. He tried to think of any siblings she would be talking about. He knew Tsuki and Kage were siblings, but the female didn't smell like them. He knew she wasn't his sibling, and he couldn't think of anyone else. Then he remembered. A spark of recognition lit his face and he tilted his head to the side.

"Do you mean Rin and Kaze?"

[Rynn]

The black wolf's face lit up, "yes, they are my siblings...Kaze is my twin brother...have you seen them?" If he knew their names he had to have seen them and probably knew where they were, she sat patiently waiting for the wolfs answer.

Daisuke nodded, glad that he could help someone. Since he'd left his own siblings, he'd been feeling incredibly lonely. When you spend your whole life with two other people and then leave in the prime of it, it's only natural to have some separation anxiety. He pulled his thoughts back to the black wolf before him, and he tilted his head.

"Well I can't be entirely sure that they're still there, but the last time I saw them they were in Lady Hitoban's den." He used the formal name just to warn the black wolfess that he didn't fully trust her, and that there was an alphess at the ready to defend her territory and friends if need be. "I suppose if you need me to, I could lead you there." he added cautiously.

[Rynn]

The black wolf looked at Daisuke for a few minutes, she had the feeling he didn't completely trust her, she thought for a few seconds more before saying, "I dont' want to cause any trouble, I just really want to see my siblings...I haven't seen either one for a long time, the last time I saw Rin was when she killed our father and was exiled, and Kaze....he left not long afterwards to find her before our older brother did..." she sighed, "If you wish you can go get Lady Hitoban and either Rin or Kaze....to prove that I am actally their sister...I will stay here.."

She closed her eyes briefly and a pained expression passed across her face briefly before she opened her eyes again and said, "Packs and their den sites are precious...I wouldn't want my siblings friends to lose that...I myself have already seen that once..." The black wolf left the sentence hanging and turned to look off into space as she waited for Daisukes awnser, but what Daisuke didn't see was the partially healed wound that ran from her hip to her shoulder blade, but she had made sure when she had turned to face him that she had kept it out of his sight. It was part of her recent past and she didn't wish to share it now, not until after she found her siblings at the very least...that was her first priority.

Almost immediately, Daisuke felt bad for not trusting the black wolfess. He was always too quick to jump to conclusions, and it often got him into trouble. However, he just realized that he didn't know the wolfess's name. Perhaps that was why he found it so hard to trust her. He'd spoken his name, anticipating an answer (it was the natural thing to do), and only just realized that he'd never gotten one. He spoke up now, to alleviate the tension.

I'm sorry, it's just that I'd never got your name, so I was a bit cautious. If you will tell it to me, then I will gladly lead you there."

[Rynn]

The black wolf blinked in surprise then mentally kicked herself for forgetting her manners in the excitement of having someone know where her siblings were, she bowed her head in appology. "I'm sorry for my loss of manners, my names Fallen...." she paused then deciding to be open she finished her sentence. "Ex-Alpha of a pack recently destroyed....so I will not bother with the name" she sighed slightly at the thought and memories of those she lost...and as the only remaining wolf from the back she didn't wish to go into details. The wound on her side ached but she pushed the pain out of her mind and sat patiently.

Daisuke dipped his head in return to her's, and listened to her controlled speech. Fallen, ex Alphess of an unknown pack. The thought made him slightly uneasy. Would she be looking to try and take the territory from Hitoban and Tsuki? He decided to subtly figure it out before he led her away.

"Welcome, Fallen, to Lady Hitoban and Lord Tsuki's packlands. I have to say, these are certainly beautiful lands, wouldn't you agree? Perhaps they're good enough to attempt to steal!" He laughed lightly to cover his accusation, and smiled as if it were a joke. He wasn't too good at wording, but his attitude covered his tracks.

[Rynn]

Fallen shook her head, she could see where he was going with this conversation..."I have no intention of stealing anyones territory...I"m not going to attempt to restart a pack, besides how would I steal it? I am way outnumbered by the wolves from this pack...not couting its allies..one wolf against two whole packs...I'm not that suicidal..." she paused and then muttered under her breath. "And besides I doubt I am in any condition to fight anytime soon anyway..."

Daisuke flushed slightly, knowing he'd been caught. He figured he'd better take her now so she didn't think him totally rude. He turned toward the direction of Hitoban's faded smell and turned his head around to look at her.

If you'll follow me, we'll be there in no time.

Fallen nodded and stood a shooting pain went through her injured side but she ignored it and padded next to him so that her uninjured side was visible to him. "Thank you Daisuke.." she said and she followed after him.
