Wicked

For anyone who hasn't seen the musical Wicked, it is great. I haven't read the book, but I'm told that it is WAAAAY different from the musical. Anyway, the book is called Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and it's all about the green-skinned witch. Her name is Elphaba, and her sister is Nessarose. Elphaba befriends a high-strung girl from the north named Galinda, later calling herself Glinda, when she goes to college. Later a lot of stuff happens and she turns evil and gets melted yadda yadda.

The point of me saying all this? I wanted to share my favorite song from the musical with you. It's called Popular-Glinda singing to Elphaba. It is HILARIOUS.

Oh, I love "Popular". Of course, me and um... well, I used to hang out with this one girl, and we'd sing "What is This Feeling?" all the time... but she doesn't speak to me anymore... T^T

"Pink goes good with green." lol. XD I think she's so snobby in that musical. She's nicer in the book (so I've been told).

Ugh... I couldn't get through chapter 5. The writing style made every page painful to read, and it was so depressing... Musical = awesome. Book however, should DIAF.

:\ Bryce loves the book. IDK though. I'm getting the series for Christmas, so I shall see if it is really terrible indeed. lol
