Name: Shimo ("Shee-mo")
Translation: Frost
Age: 1
Dimensions: Height: 23in. at shoulders. Length: 60in. long
Weight: 62lbs.
Appearance: (yay, I has a pic!)
Shimo is white, with gray eyes, and blue-gray on his feet and the tip of his tail. He really has no memory of who he is or what he is, for that matter. All he remembers is waking up in the middle of nowhere and getting attacked by a bear. He ran, of course, but he decided to observe the bear from a distance. He found out that it had two little versions of itself, that followed it everywhere. He also learned how to climb trees, gather berries, fish, and eat honey. This caused him to develop a very unique intestinal tract, capable of eating practically anything. He also had an odd yellow leaf hanging from a silver ring in his ear. He wasn't sure what it was, but he managed to get the leaf off. It hurt too much to try and remove the ring, so he left it in. Because he had no parents, and didn't even know what a parent was, he learned from everything around him. He can speak a variety of languages, leap through trees, swim like an otter, fight like a bear, and sing like a bird. He even took on a curious obsession with the maintenance of his fur, which he learned from birds and cats. His coat is almost always unusually shiny and well groomed. The one thing he knew nothing about was hunting. Until one day, he met a hawk, who taught him how. He called the hawk Tsubasa, and they've been hunting partners ever since. Shimo is not always comfortable hunting other animals that he talks to all day, but is always willing to help his friend, Tsubasa. Tsubasa often rides on Shimo's shoulders, and they make curious noises at each other, which one may only assume is conversational in nature.
Shimo had never met a wolf before, and was curious as to what exactly they were. Tsubasa had told him a great deal about wolves. When he finally did meet a pack, he found himself feeling out of place, and very uncomfortable. He didn't know how to be a wolf, so he gave up and left.
Note: Tsubasa is not a character by himself, he's just an extra to help Shimo along, so he'll never be seen anywhere Shimo isn't, and will not have a significant roll in shaping the story.
