Dawn face began to crease with worry at the ever-present cry of the pup. She reached over and picked her up in her mouth, bringing her closer and tucking her underneath her chin. It was instinctive, the vibrating comfort sound that she made, and the pup instantly quieted her cries. She fell asleep presently, and Dawn put her back with her siblings.

A grim look came across Wahya's face to hear the news to Rin's health, "Hopefully it is not anything serious, there is no need to lose a wolf just to health."

Wahya tilts his head, it was a first to hear how a pup came out with a paw missing. "Agree Tsuki, I will see everyone after I give my regards to the new mother and father." A warm smile coming across his face before following Tsuki.

When coming to the room, Wahya stops at the door as he looks into the room quietly, it had been so long since he had seen any pups. His heart felt so warm to see them, speaking in a low tone, "Are they not beautiful..." Wahya looks from the pups to Dawn and Kage, Heh, they seem to be doing well too... that is good to know.

Dawn lifted her head when Wahya came into the room, giving him a small nod before putting her chin back onto the floor. She was getting tired again, but she would deal with the well-wishers as long as they wanted to stay.

Once Wahya left, Hina gave a nod to Tsuki and crossed to her sister. They embraced in a wolfy hug and smiled at each other. "How've you been Maname?"

"Good. Being a part of a pack isn't as bad as I thought it would be. What about you?"

"The same. I'm glad to see you're being treated well. How is it, having pups around?"

"Well they've only been around for a short while, so we're all still getting used to them. Dawn is getting tired though, and I'm thinking about shooing away the visitors in a minute."

"I won't go in at all then."

The two laid down near the room Dawn was in, just resting and hanging out with each other while the others visited with the newly made family.

[Tsukikage]

Though everyone else greeted Wahya warmly, Kage remained wary of their old friend. It had been some time, but he still carried the scars from his fights with Giga, even though they remained hidden... until now. Kage's expression grew a bit too grave -- he couldn't even look Wahya in the eyes.
Tsuki felt a cold chill from his older brother, and decided to step in. "Kage's... a little tired, I'm sure." He covered, "This is all quite new, and I think both the mother and father could use some rest -- we have all crowded them for a while now."
Tsuki turned and bowed to Dawn. "I'm afraid I'll have to steal your mate for a moment. Brother-talk -- you understand." Without waiting for a response, Tsuki took Kage away from the crowd and the two quickly vanished before any could follow, which would not have worried anyone, except that Kage limped out...

Dawn felt the change in Kage's mood, and saw it on his face. She was grateful when Tsuki stepped in to take him and see what the matter was, but as he left, limping, she couldn't help but feel a pang of worry and loneliness. Hitoban padded over to Dawn and gave her a small nod. "I think I'll leave you alone now Dawn. You must be very tired." Dawn nodded and smiled, and with one last look at the pups, Hitoban exited quietly to go outside.

As Hitoban exited, Maname slipped in. "As for the rest of you, I think it best to follow Lady Hitoban's example. Dawn is very tired I'm sure, and she needs to get some rest." Maname left just as the others had done-quietly.

[Rynn]

Kaze who had been standing just inside the den waited till Hitoban and Maname left before quietly standing up and padding out of the den and back to his sister who was laying down with her head up listening to the others nearby. "You feeling okay Rin?" he asked as he layed close to his sister. Rin smiled, "I'm fine Kaze, just..a little tired..." Kaze nodded and did a casual look over of his sisters appearance, she was still too thin with almost all her ribs still showing, but other than that she seemed better, that is until another wave of this mysterious illness attacked her again. Kaze sighed and stared off into space, "You remember telling a few of the others that you were thinking about leaving once Dawns' pups are born?" Rin turned to look at her brother, "Yes I do remember, why?" Kaze looked his sister in the eyes, "You still thinking about it or are you thinking about staying here?" Rin sighed and laid her head on her paws, "I'm not sure Kaze, I'm not sure...it's still....up in the air." Rins eyes then gradually closed until she was dozing lightly again, and Kaze sighed and stared off into space.

Once everyone was gone, Dawn felt a wave of sleepiness push down on her. But she didn't cave. She wouldn't-no, she couldn't sleep; she couldn't sleep until she knew her pups were going to be safe while she did. They might wander off and get stepped on, or fall over something, or god knows what! Anxiety gripped her and she pulled her babies ever closer. Their little yips and snorts were comforting already, though she'd only had them a short while. She needed to sleep, she knew, but she couldn't-not without someone watching them. She would wait for Kage to come back, and then she would give in to her need to sleep. Only when she knew they were safe...

Wahya watched as everyone made their passes and notice the limping and his behavior toward him, I hope Kage still does not hold a grudge or fear to me due to Giga.. Wahya started to say something to him, but he was already gone.

Wahya looked back into the room as he passed by, knowing that Dawn was surely tired after today's work. As he made it into the room with the others, he still had that smile on his face, "Hello everyone, its good to see familiar faces on such a honorable day."

Maname let Wahya by her since he hadn't seen the pups yet, and left promptly. Dawn looked up, a weary smile on her face. "Good morning Wahya. Have you been enjoying your stay?" It was a bit formal, but she was afraid if she didn't say it, she wouldn't say anything at all.

Wahya bows his head to Dawn as he enters the room, "Morning Dawn, I have enjoyed my stay." Wahya looks to the pups with a smile, "May I congratulate you on your litter, they are a sight to be seen." Wahya looks back to Dawn, "You and Kage will do a great job as parents, I am sure of it. If you need anything, you let me or anyone else know for now I will leave and let you rest."

Dawn smiled at Wahya and his compliments, and nodded slowly. "Yes, thank you for saying so. I think we will do good; if only this little girl could get a name..." That would have to wait for Kage to get back as well. Maybe he'd have some time to think about it while she slept. Wahya suggested he leave, and said if they needed anything, they could ask him.

"Yes Wahya, thank you very much. It has been a long day-er...day and night, isn't it...? Yes, day and night." She sighed and dropped her head on the ground again. Her cheek was bombarded by two or three little noses searching for her. She nosed them back over with their siblings and smiled at Wahya again.

"Thank you for dropping by. Perhaps later there will be more time to visit, but right now I'm just about ready to drop."

Wahya chuckles lightly, "Don't worry, I am sure you and Kage will find a great name for her. Don't stress yourself, you have already done alot for today, there is still days to follow so no need to rush things."

Wahya's sight caught the sight of the little pups again, a tear rolls down his fur as that thought came to his mind, he barely remembers his mother or being a pup. He turns to the door, trying not to show it, "Rest well Dawn. I will make sure to stop by when you have your energy back."

Wahya began to slowly walk back to where all the others were.

Dawn laid her head down again, overcome with her weariness, and wished Kage would show up soon. She continued fussing over her pups, trying to keep herself awake. She spotted one that wasn't moving and started getting worried. It was Yuuka. She just wasn't moving, and she still wasn't. She laid very still for a very long time, and finally Dawn picked her up in her mouth and shook her a little. She made a little squeak sound, a baby yelp, and Dawn put her down quickly. Too quickly though, and she banged her chin against the floor, making another squeak noise and beginning to cry. Dawn backed up on the soft bed and pulled all of her pups farther back, gently and slowly bringing Yuuka with them. Maybe if they were farther away from the edge she wouldn't freak out as much. She comforted Yuuka in that instinctual motherly way until she fell asleep again, and she curled her head around, encircling them like a cat with her body, her tail touching her ears. It wasn't very comfortable, but that was okay because she couldn't go to sleep anyway. If she did, something might happen to them. She'd already gone through that conversation with herself before though, so she just watched her babies baby-crawling around in the protective circle their mother had made for them.

Rin woke up several minutes later and yawned and stepped out of the den she had been sleeping in she sat down in the shadows and noticed Wahya and the others, she made sure she stayed in the shadows though with her light coat it made hiding in the shadows hard to do. "Hello again Wahya, it's been a while hasn't it..." she said warmly, "Sorry I didn't greet you earlier, I was resting."

Kaze followed his sister out and sat next to her in the shadows all you could really see of him was his emerald green eyes and a faint outline of his body,he stayed silent as Rin greeted Wahya.

Wahya looked to the familiar voice from the shadows, "Why hello Rin, good to see you are well like everyone else. There is no need to apologize, you was resting making sure to get your strength for the day."

Wahya looked over, catching the silhouette of the wolf next to her, "Hello to you as well."
