~Personality~
He's prone to shying from large groups. They just tend to irk him. He's not all that eager in making friends, as he's been on his own for quite some time. He's gotten quite used to being alone. But don't get me wrong, he's willing to try. It just takes him a while to open up. Trust doesn't come easy, and rightfully so. He's been let down before, and that could happen again. But if you stick around, he may warm up to you. The one that he truly resents is Canyon, his father.
~History~
Bounder was one of but two, born to the doting Twilight and distant Canyon. He was the elder, with Marus following shortly thereafter. Twilight would raise them; Canyon would keep his distance. He wasn't too keen on being a father. It just didn't suit him. And he had quite the itch to explore. He just wasn't content to stay in one place. And so, the little family found itself constantly on the move. They hurried from one spot to the next. This would lead to the breaking of said family.
Something had to give. That something was Twilight. Not having been used to all this traveling, she developed an illness. However, she chose to hide her condition, so no one suspected a thing. At first. Bounder wouldn't know that his family was slowly beginning to fall apart. He was your typical pup: care-free and happy. He wouldn't know of his mother's condition. Nor would he suspect that his father was growing all the more distant. For you see, Canyon had never wanted these pups. He didn't think he was father material. In the end, he walked out. He wished his mate well, but he wasn't cut out for this sort of life.
After he left, Twilight took a turn for the worse. She tried to raise her sons on her own, but she just couldn't do it. The strain was too much, and they wound up having to take care of her. Bounder would never be forgive his father for this. However, he would soon find himself fed up with this way of life. He loved his mother, but he wanted to see just what was out there. He wanted to see what the world had to offer. He knew she was dying, and there was little more he could do for her. But Marus refused to believe that. Twilight wanted a better life for her sons, and she let Bounder go.
She gave him her blessing; Marus dubbed him a traitor. How could he abandon their parent? The one that had raised them, had cherished and loved them? They got in a fight and parted on less than friendly terms. Soon after he left, his mother died. But he wouldn't know of this. Nor would he know of his brother's cries for revenge.
He will find all of this out, eventually. But for now, he wanders. Looking to start anew...
