If you're new to wolf RPing, here are some things you might want to know.
Diseases and Parasites

Distemper: A very contagious disease caused by a microscope virus. The disease usually is on the skin, eye membranes, intestinal tract, and occasionally the brain. The symptoms are a fever, loss of appetite, and discharge of the eyes and nose. Dehydration and diarrhea are in the final stages seizures may happens.
Rabies: Rabies are very rare in wolves. The rare cases are caused from getting the disease from skunks, raccoons, bats, and foxes.
Injuries
A wolf can get any kind of injuries. It can be from a fight, natural disasters, or from having a rough fall.
Powers
Some of the wolves of this land possess magical powers. The ones that do possess powers have different appearances than normal wolves. That includes:
Markings
Color
Wings
The kind of powers the wolves may have are:
Demonic Powers
Angelic Powers
Supernatural Powers(Witchcraft, etc)
Deaths
Everything dies at a certain time. That includes wolves. Wolves can die from these causes:
Natural Disasters: Things like hurricanes, floods, thunders, and large falls.
Poison: Sadly, even poison is used in this world of wolves. Wolves die from poison in about 3 hours unless you find a way to get rid of it. Poison is found in the snakes of Heartless Pack Territory.
Blood Loss: Blood loss is a common cause of death. A wolf dies from blood loss in about 5-12 counting on the wound. A small wound never causes blood loss unless it hit a vain. In that case a wolf dies in 12 hours if it's a small wound. A medium sized wound, like a slash that hit a vain causes death in about 9 hours. A large wound or many wounds that cover the body causes death in about 4 hours if the blood doesn't stop.

Information On Pack Ranks
This is a little description of the pack ranks:
- Alpha(s): Leader of the pack. They take full responsibility of the pack. They help hunt, take care of the Pups, and heal the injured. Usually there is a female and male Alpha, but in this RP there can be one or two.
- Alpha's Heir: The wolf that takes the place when the Alpha either dies or resign from their duty. The Alpha's Heir is usually one of the Alpha's pups.
- Alpha's Pups: The names says it all. These are the Alpha's pups. The strongest and fastest of the pups gets to be the Alpha's Heir.
- Beta(s): The Beta is second in command. the Alpha's most trusted wolf. If the Alpha should die, not want to continue his/her duties, or go hunting due to lack of members in the pack, the Beta would take over duty as the Alpha. The Beta could be male or female, and there can be one or two.
- Delta(s): The Delta is third in command. The Delta is usually the second most trusted member of the pack, or a strong fighter of the pack. If the Alpha(s) and Beta(s) are unable to do their duties, the Delta(s) would become the pack leader. The Delta could be male or female and there could be one or two.
- Elders: This is a new rank added. The Elders of the pack are usually the oldest and wisest of the pack members. The Elders would be adviser for the Alphas. The Elders would be the most experienced in battle and would fight if the Alpha, Beta and Delta are injured. The Elders could be male or female.
- Healers: A new rank also. The Healers are respected wolves in the pack that are specially trained on tending wounds. They take care of the injured and the elderly. They are known to not move a lot, but stay in the Den of packs. They have wonderful grace, and have the ability to purify Demons and other evil things. Healers tend to be female most of the time, but males are accepted too.
- Captain of the Guard: This is a new rank. There is a guard, and there is the Captain of the Guard. This is sort of like the alpha of the guards.
- Alphas' Guard: Just like it sounds. The Alphas' personal bodyguard.
- Betas' Guard: The Betas' personal bodyguard.
- Guard: There can be quite a few of these guys. Typically the toughest wolves in the pack, they're the first line of defense against intruders.
- Spies: Not every pack chooses to have spies. They're sort of like messengers. They lurk around like ninjas and warn the guards when intruders enter the territory.
- Nurse: The nurse is a normal wolf that the higher ranking wolves trust a lot. When one of the higher ranking wolves has a litter or pups, the Nurse is in charge of looking after them whenever their parents want to take a break.
- Wolf: The normal wolves of the pack. They follow their leaders without question. They have no right to mate. They usually help the Alpha, Beta and Delta hunt. Only males are allowed in this rank.
- Wolfess: They are the packs' females. They help take of the Pups and also help the Omega out. These females have no right to mate either. They are rarely given the chance to breed. Only females are allowed in this rank.
- Adolescence: These are the teenage wolves of the pack. They are at the time of their lives where they want to go out and start their own packs. Too bad they have to come along with their parents so they can learn to hunt, fend for themselves, and learn to fight. They are restricted from leaving the pack by their parents.
- Yearlings: Yearlings are the year old Pups of the pack. They still hang around with the Omega, but tend to go with the Wolfesses more. They tend to get into a lot of trouble.
- Pups: The babies of the pack. They are 0 to 12 months old. They don't wander very much and are watched by the Omega. The pups usually grow a close bond to the Omega and can't see why he/she is teased by higher ranked wolves.
- Omega: The lowest rank of wolf. They are usually teased by the higher ranked wolves. They usually eat last or don't eat at all. Food is usually taken from this wolf when the Alpha(s) isn't(aren't) looking. This rank watches the pups while the others hunt or there is no nurse.
