Dawn smiled, laying her head down on her paws. "I guess I can sleep for a little while. Though I'm feeling better now..." She chuckled softly and thumped her tail against the bed. "Come and lie with me until I fall asleep?"

Kage bowed his head and grinned. "I'm... surprised you even have to ask." He said.
Without another word, Kage lay down behind Dawn, pressing his body against hers for comfort.

Dawn smiled and sighed as she felt Kage's body against hers. She laid her head down, closing her eyes, and felt six little bullets ram into her stomach and lay down. Some climbed on her back, some between their parents, but all of their pups were there. Dawn opened her eyes to make sure, counting them one by one. Then she closed her eyes and sleep took her.
