Well pardon me...
Rose flicked her ears back, a little embarrassed. Of course there would be an Alpha. There had to be. She didn't really know what to say, but when the wolfess identified herself as Hazelmoon, she nodded and smiled. She wondered what on earth they were going to do now that the deer was finished. A butterfly floated lazily past her face, tickling her nose with its wing.
I just don't know a lot about wolves.

"As time goes by, you'll learn plenty. Soon, you'll be just like one of us." Koal said before tilting his to the side and giving his right head a few scratches. Koal shook his head once at he looked at Rose. "You'll do fine here." Koal said as he tried to sound encouraging and to make Rose feel comfortable. "I think Hazelmoon here could teach you?" Koal said curiously as he looked at Hazelmoon, hoping she wouldn't mind teaching Rose since Koal knows very few. "As for the deer, it'll just rot and go into the earth, thus giving some nutritions to the plants and trees around us." Koal said, it seem natural for such a thing to happen.
OOC: Oops, didn't notice that. ^^;

ooc: Sorry I took so long, forgot it was my turn  Hazelmoon shrugged. "Well, I guess..." she replied. She wondered how she could teach Rose to be a wolf. She murmered agreement to Koals' other statement. The ground would thank them for the deer, that is, if the ground actually could. Hazelmoon looked at the sky. The moon was coming out now, and her black fur turned silver as it was dappled in moonlight. "Full moon tongiht," she remarked, and yawned. |

A full moon?
Rose looked up at the sky, the large round silver disk just peeking through the treetops. A full moon...she'd always heard the wilder dogs howling at it, and the wolves. She'd even had the urge to give a nice howl whenever she saw it, but every time she tried, her people would get mad and yell and whack her with rolled up newspapers. So, as time went on, the urges passed. But now that she was back in the wild, she was excited about the moon again.
'Are we going to howl at it?" She winced, because even she thought she sounded over-eager and cheesy.
I hope that didn't sound weird...

Koal looked up toward the sky at the beutiful known as the moon, Koal breathed in the cold around him as he let out a happy sigh, Koal soon looks at Rose as she askes if they could howl. "For what reason?" Koal asked as he tilted his head. Howling ment alot of things to wolves.
Koal looked back toward the full moon as he waited for Rose's response. Today seemed to be a good day since he arrived to this area.

Hazelmoon shrugged at Rose's question. She liked to howl at the moon, especially when it was full. But the way Rose said it... it just didn't seem right. For Hazelmoon never had asked to howl, she just went right on ahead and did it.
"I guess... if you want to, Rose." Howling at the moon was a wolf thing, but she wondered if Rose would know how to do it correctly.

Well...
She could tell that they were looking at her weirdly. They thought it was a funny kind of question to ask, and they thought she was weird to ask it. Now that they had said what they'd said and looked at her like that, she didn't know that she wanted to do it anymore. She would howl when she was alone, not in the presence of others who could watch and appraise her. She didn't like it. "Well I don't guess we have to...It's more a spontaneous thing...?"
Maybe not.

"If you wish to howl, then you can if you want to. There is no rules against it as far as I know." Koal said as he continued to stare at the moon. "No one is stopping you, wolves have the freedom." Koal said as he looked at Rose with a friendly smile, Koal's tail soon moved and got close to his paws.

Hazelmoon nodded in agreement at Koal's statement. Rose had the freedom to howl as much as she wanted, but she wondered why Koal was referring to her as a wolf. Maybe he was making her feel included, making her feel like a wolf.
Hazelmoon had a strong desire to howl herself, but she stepped back. Rose was the new one, and if they were going to howl, she would be the one to lead it.

A wolf...
As Rose stared at the moon, she listened to the wolves around her. They were telling her that she could do what she wanted to now. That's right. Anything I want... She felt chilly air fill her lungs as she breathed in, and her eyes closed. She let loose a howl, slightly soprano in tone, long and sweet. She continued, breathing when she needed to, feeling a great excitement and peace all at once filling her. She was howling for the first real time.
Why not?

"Rose, you are now one of our kind, no matter how different your species may be, you will have a wonderful life and discover and learn many things about yourself and many other things about wolves along with the way of life." Koal said with a smile on his face, Koal was now proud of Rose.
She had recently coem here, she was confused and unguided, but now, she understands things around here and is now guided on her new path of life. Rose will love it here in the wild, and who knows, she may even become stronger here.

Why interrupt?
My howling was interrupted by Koal talking. I stopped, embarrassed. I guess it's customary for wolves to comment on the howling, but I wouldn't know otherwise. I smiled sheepishly and nodded my head. "Yes, thank you Koal." It was good to know that I was accepted. I yawned, looking around. "It's getting late. Where do you suppose there is to sleep?"
I'm tired...

"Well, theres many places to pick, such s with a pack or in the plains, perhaps a cave or on top of flat leaves.." Koal said, explaining the best he knows.

Well...I guess this works.
Well it seemed that there was no "designated sleeping area" or anything like that. Rose was used to sleeping on her dog bed in the laundry room, but there were no such things here. She looked around, found a nice little spot next to a tree, and laid down. It wasn't nearly as comfortable as her bed, but it would do.
"Well, I guess I'm going to go to sleep. Good night." She closed her eyes, and tried to go to sleep.
